First of all if this is truly supposed to be a 500 film project and they are able to put out one film a month, it's gonna take 41 years 8 months to finish. Now if you subtract the (by my count) 185 previously MST'd movies, since at least one Cine Titan has worked on all of those, yer still looking at a 26 year 3 month commitment! Even though I'm sure 500 is pretty much a pie in the sky goal, they still better get crackin'!
My second random thought is I wonder how many movies they have to produce in order to make this thing profitable. I know the vast majority of new businesses start off being "upside down" for at least a year (some say three years) so I'm sure CT is no exception. I just worry because this particular venture, at least for the moment, is probably being supported soley on the backs of the somewhat elite group I like to call "MSTies who are still paying attention". Are there enough of us to keep it afloat while it grows? I'm sure as the catalog grows so will the fan base but in the meantime, I hope they can keep this thing going!
Okay, enough nay saying for one post. GO TITANS!
***Edited to add*** By the way, I certainly don't wish any actual CT person to respond to my impertinent musings about fiscal matters. I was just wondering out loud.

Offer some T-Shirts Titans , I'll buy `em as stocking stuffers !! Hey , once the download for Skull is a go , put up that ILM live-version you mentioned awhile back . I must give $$$ to you !!

Maybe they could sell locks of their hair... tied into fishing flies perhaps?? Or maybe a lemonade stand or a bake sale. Can the Titans cook? I'd buy a brownie named after a maritime disaster. Heck who wouldn't! I know none of this is any of my royal beeswax but I can't help but wonder aloud... well I could help it but I didn't.

Speaking of money issues, I've been wondering how much the Titans are making on this venture, if anything at all. If DVD sales directly contribute to production of the next one, how are they paying themselves? It can't be cheap to rent a filming space - especially at ILM. I don't know how many sales have been made, but is it really enough to produce an episode and pay your writers? Joel, Josh, and Frank live in L.A. for crying out loud, and to have a house there must be insanely expensive! How do they live? Are they working on other projects while doing CT? I know Frank has Cartoon Dump, but does everyone else have a steady job? Or are their wives suporting them while they sit on the couch, their faces covered in four day old stubble, as they sit in boxer shorts and yell at the TV? How are they doing this? !!! I suppose I should have asked these questions for the 20 Questions thing...but I didn't think of them then!

I'd bet the Incognito Cinema Warriors have lower income needs. Still would be interesting to know though. Personally I just want to know this venture is on firm enough ground to keep going well into the future! I'd love to see em make that 500 film goal.

A gala ceremony? Any specific location? Who gets to attend? I wonder these random things.

Well given that the youngest Titan is the same age as me, I sort of wonder who'd be erm... "available" to attend the ceremony at that point!

It can't be cheap to rent a filming space - especially at ILM. I sincerely doubt they are using space at ILM. As far as I could tell from the posts I've read, they filmed the first installment at a studio in Burbank. A couple grand would likely cover everything from the studio space, the chromakey rig, and an engineer or two.

Nah I didn't get the impression that they used ILM either. If the studio time is as cheap as that maybe I oughta make my own crappy movie...

I when Joel put up the post showing the set, I made a mental association that it was at ILM cause they were doing a show there. Still, a couple a grand is a lot of money...

Not in showbiz. Which reminds me of that Vegas commercial: Husband-I've lost $6000 so far but here that's like 5 bucks. Wife on phone-Here, that's like $6000!
