I enjoyed the movie pretty well, but it's definitely open for riffing. I probably would have liked the enemies better if they'd looked more like pale, glowing-eyed Bill here, though, than what they actually looked like.

I've heard this is particularly poo-filled!

Oh wow, this is great news. I detested this movie sooo much. I look forward to seeing this Rifftrax for sure!

"I am..." is crapola of a movie that will be perfect rifftrax fodder. Bring it on!

Personally...if they were going to do one adaptation of the story, I would prefer it to be Omega Man. Though they could have a lot of fun with Last Man on Earth as well.
But I look forward to it, whatever movie they do. This one is actually my favorite of the three, but the possiblities are endless.

I hated this movie so much. As a fan of the original novel, and "The Last Man on Earth" with Vincent Price, I look forward to seeing this rifftrax.

Omega Man would have been cool. That could have been their tribute to Charlton Heston.

Omega Man would have been cool. That could have been their tribute to Charlton Heston. Yeah, I was thinking that too. But it might have been interpreted as disrespectful so soon after his death. I remember I corrected some guy on a quote from Back to the Future on another message board once, and I told him that if he misquoted that movie, I'd "be on your ass so fast you'd think you're being raped by Superman." Christopher Reeve died like a month before I said it, and some guy gave me hell about it (though Superman's been around since before Reeve was even born, so I don't see the fuss). But I'd love for the crew to do something Heston someday. Omega Man or Beneath the Planet of the Apes would be stellar.

This seems like an odd choice to me. I understand choices like Spider Man, Cloverfield, Beowulf, Matrix, etc. These films have lots of settings, lots of characters. lots of things going on, lots of things to mix up the riffing. 70% of I Am Legend, however, is a guy talking to a dog. How many jokes can you make about that? I think they've given themselves a real challenge here.

Hot dog! I'm looking forward to the RiffTrax treatment of this overrated piece of crap. The dog was the only good thing about this whole mess of a movie.

Wow...I'm amazed at how many people didn't like this film. I thought it was well-done from start to finish. I was actually pleasantly surprised by it. Didn't anyone else like it?

It is just one more adaptation of Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend" that bears more resemblance to "Daktari" than the source material...

I thought it was a good film as well and I've also been a little taken aback at the dislike for it. I recommended it to a few friends and none of them cared for it. Their main complaint seemed to be that they couldn't buy Will Smith in the role of a doctor. Perhaps he wasn't the best casting choice but I thought he did a credible job.

I haven't seen I Am Legend yet, althought I just picked up the DVD, so I'm not making any kind of judgement on it. I just think that Omega Man would make a good RiffTrax.
