I'll be ordering my usual three copies, one for me, and the other two for CT-loving friends here in Wisconsin and in Oklahoma who don't have the discretionary income to buy it. Bless you, Holoclown. Your friends are indeed lucky to have you as a friend. RAD

I kinda wonder what the reasoning was behind not accepting pre-orders this time around...I recall there were some issues with the first release (pre-payments being recredited, and back-n-forth), but it seems like there's also the risk of 'first-day orders' server overload (or filling delays) doing it this way. With pre-orders, at least there's a ordering cushion before the street date. Unless they've already pressed a lot of them, by using the first release's sales numbers as a guide, so they can be sent out immediately. Hmmmm

CT wants to incorperate the release of the first regular series DVD with the grand opening of their CT store. Offer a good discount on shipping and who knows what can be sold with the DVD? T shirts? Autographed DVDs? Mugs? Really, I don't know what they're going to offer.

So are expatriate fans like myself going to be able to use the download option this time or is that a no-no due to the same "possible rights problems" mentioned last time?

I'll order my copy (in snap-box with artwork this time) of course, but I'll get to SEE it on Saturday 6/21. Live. In a gorgeous outdoor theater in Hollywood. Yes! Will I go alone and have an extra ticket for posterity? Or will Hoss Ragen meet me there? I don't know...
Edit: Whoops! I'll be seeing Wasp Woman, not Doomsday Machine. I never thought there'd be so many new riff projects released that I'd get confused...Yes!

Roncodpiece, Yes, you will be able to download this release. Unless, as your avatar indicates, you're actually on the moon, in which case it won't be available. RAD

Holy crap, Batman! I just went to watch the Doomsday Machine trailer, but I see the link goes to Episode 2, Promo 2! Which I hadn't seen before. Am I the only one so out-of-touch? By the way, the 2nd promo seems to have nothing but home runs in the riff scorebox. HammerTime! (Bix starts dancing)
Josh's score still gets better every time I hear it!
Edit: Do I detect a little premise-building?

Well, I certainly am hoping for/wishing them the best for tomorrow. There's going to be a LOT of people hitting their site for orders, so I hope their admin is ready!

For all you that would like to get Doomsday Machine quickly, there is a download service called EZTakes (www.eztakes.com) that has the exclusive download rights from Cinematic Titanic. They have a download to burn service that allows you to burn copies of the downloaded movie to DVD. It will be available on their site tomorrow morning.

I am trying to figure out if I want the DVD copy or the EZ TAKES download version.
One thing I did like about previous movies I downloaded from EZ Takes (good film noir collection they have) is the ability to use their download manager to convert the movie to MP4 format for ipod or AppleTV.
I assume the CT002 will have that same feature, right?
