How can you be refreshing the stupid ticketmaster page for the Cinematic Titanic Live tickets, click on the "Find Tickets" the instant it appears, immediately search for tickets, and find the closest together group of 4 tickets is in....ROW S! wth?? I mean, how many special tickets did they save out for friends and stuff? How can searches 2 minutes after the friggin PRE-sale begins be showing seats in Loge R and Loge L as the closest available? What the hell is going on?? I almost didn't buy tickets as a protest. I immediately searched for 2 tickets after my search for 4 tickets, and the seats were barely better. I ended up buying 4 OK seats I guess, but my frustration level is very high right now. The instant a pre-sale starts, you're supposed to be able to get great seats. Anyone else having the same feelings? How can all the good tickets be gone before the PRE-SALE even STARTS? Arggh! I mean, I've done this before with concert tickets on ticketmaster. Last time I was hitting refresh on a pre-sale to club members for a concert, I got 2nd row center tickets - and this was for a popular show that sold out in pretty short order. Is Cin Titan really this big, or are they just screwing us? So immensely bummed......I was sure I'd be in the first few rows......

I was doing the same thing and the closest I was able to find 2 tickets was row S.
But nothing says that all those up-close seats are gone. The presale might not have access to them.
And row is is middle of the way back in the main floor. For a movie screening, which this basically is, that's prime seat location IMO.

Ah crud, I've never been to a movie screening before, I probably got really cruddy seats. I should have thought about that.
And if people who start buying tickets tomorrow get better seats than me, I'll probably throw something at my wall. What's the point of having a pre-sale for club members if not to give them priority on getting the best seats? Unless Row S, Loge A, etc are really the best seats for a movie screening. Still, even if they were the best for a movie screening, I'll be going there (as I assume most of us will) mainly to see the Titans, not the movie they're gonna riff. If my angle to the screen is cruddy I won't complain as long as I get a good view of the riffers in action.
So I certainly hope I couldn't have gotten better seats by waiting until *after* the pre-sale, because that is just dumb reverse logic that would tick me off even more. As it is I'm assuming those other close seats are taken up by friends and family, of which I assume the Titans still have a great number in the Twin Cities area - I hope that's the case, as it will ease the knowledge that none of us msties can get great seats ourselves.

Usually a presale is more intended to make sure the hardcore fans actually can get tickets before an event sells out, not to make sure they get the best tickets. But for most events the scalpers have all the presale passwords and buy the presale tickets up quickly as well. It's hard to say what seats will be OK for seeing the Titans in action. Generally for a concert at the State, every seat is a good one unless you get a tall person sitting in front of you. It's a fairly small theater. Even halfway back (row S) you should be able to see them pretty well.

If you're on the main floor at the State Theatre you'll have pretty good seats no matter where you sit. So, don't fret about it. I ordered right at 10:00 AM and got 3 seats in Row N. I'm not sweating it. You should be able to see everything just fine.

So would it be better to sit in Row T on the main floor or Row T in the upper balcony? 'Cause that's all Ticketmaster is giving me at the moment...
