OK, if you say so.

That is political as I'll ever get in public, and I will say no more about it.

Good thing, because we need to steer away from that.

Then saddle up and herd your steers outta here!

Try not to get saddle sores. You'll regret it later.

I haven't been on a horse since pony rides when I was a little kid, but it isn't hard to imagine.

Yee-haw!
I wasn't kidding in the "Five Words" game about previously having cow neighbors. I have lived one house away from a (now former) dairy farm here in Wisconsin since 1971. Occasionally the cows would escape the pasture. Sometimes they got onto the road, and at least once we had one in our front yard. Mom didn't believe my brother and sister and me at first until we found the evidence the cow left behind, if you catch my drift. It also got very aromatic in the area when the barns were being cleaned, to the point where it was nauseating to breathe. But, the cows left a few years ago when the owner died. (Cue mournful music) The city owns the farm now, and the land is gradually being developed. Even the farmhouse is gone. Only corn and bean fields left now until they develop those fields, too.

Is that where you developed your butter addiction?

Quite possibly, and I think the bacon fixation may come from being born in Iowa.

I thought that was the main reason for corn addiction.
