As long as you're not Slash or Buckethead that is!

That song sounds about as much like GnR as the new NKOTB album. Yet more proof that GnR w/o Izzy is just another disposable metal band.

yup Izzy & Slash were the heart & soul of that band Axl Pose has jerked the public around so much that it doesn't matter how good this album supposedly is it will never live up to the hype ...and this song along with all the unofficial leaks I've heard are pretty weak...all I can say is they put on a great show back when Izzy & Slash were in the band(I saw them twice) and I'm glad Axl didn't have a hissy fit and start a riot when GNR rolled through my town in the early 90s no words can express how much I detest Axl besides Fred Durst he might be the most revolting, immature personality in rock and roll ...here's hoping that Slash and Izzy form a band and show this little brat how it's done after listening to that piece of crap compare it to this which sounds better to you? www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHC47TF2cmgChinese Democracy is not Guns N Roses...unless you're talking about the song Get In The Ring where Mr. Rose so eloquently offers to "kick your bitchy little ass punk". Axl is a joke, and doesn't even know it. He is mockery of himself and rock and roll in general...a living embodiment of David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls all rolled into one.

Axl was a great frontman at one point, though. He's very much on the Rod Stewart career path, though his talent isn't in the same league as Rod.
Man I haven't heard that Ju Ju Hounds record is years. Good, good stuff.
Another of my favorites from that record...

Good, good stuff. Appetite For Destruction is an unquestionable classic. Use Your Illusion I and II much less so. After that Axl practically turned the band into a parody of itself. I don't have a a decent connection so I didn't check out the links, but I am kind of curious to hear what it sounds like. And I agree, that first Izzy Stradlin album is flipping fantastic.

In Axl's defense I will agree he is a great frontman...that is the role he is best suited for(which is a big element to why GNR was great live) But his singing hasn't aged well and it just gets annoying. His songwriting leaves a lot to be desired. For every time he strikes gold with grandiose stuff like November Rain, there are plenty of Estranged(s), Coma(s), Locomotive(s) that he churns out as well.
Quite frankly he needs to listen to people when they tell him his sh*t stinks. I'm sure part of what made Appetite as great as it was is that he was still willing to listen to people in matters such as these. Case in point, look at the song Don't Cry; a beautiful song ruined by a pointless note that Axl sings...and keeps singing.......and keeps singing.................and keeps singing..................................and keeps singing at the end(just to show off how long he can hold a note I'm assuming). I think that's where he gets into trouble(just like that pointless phone conversation in their cover of Knockin' On Heavens Door) he keeps adding things to his songs until they become pretentious, over the top messes.
