My twins and I just finished watching the original movie "Food of the Gods" from 1976. I watched it as a boy at the theater (I'm old). Even then I made fun of it and had fun watching it at the same time. We ordered it for the sole purpose of riffing it and we had a blasts. It has the perfect riffing chemistry... 1. Director Bert I. Gordon 2. Silly plot. 3. Cheap but fun special effects. 4. Characters making stupid decisions which cost lives. 5. Bad actors I even made a cover for it.

I paid hard earned money to see this during it's theatrical release.
It about sucked out my will to live.
Shatner at his worst best!
Yes, they should do this one if at all possible.

This movie is classic. Would make a great CT release. But could it be had for the right price?

Maybe MJ could convince the Rifftrax boys to do this one. Nah, it doesn't involve a blockbuster comic book movie so fat chance of that!

You could always go to the Rifftrax Roundtable and make your case to the iRiffers. I'm sure they would consider it, since riffing isn't their primary source of income. As far as an official riff, it might show up as a "Presents" I suppose. I wonder how easy it is to get on DVD? On second thought, they were able to get Troll 2 released as a VOD after they made a deal with MGM. It might not be too improbable for them to talk to MGM about Food of the Gods. It wouldn't hurt to bring that part up at the Roundtable.
