Just wanted to give you guys an update here... not that you ever visit our site or anything Just kidding. We had a catastrophic failure on our hard drive system (for you tech geeks, our RAID-5 had a bad stripe, causing a journal corruption issue, which made the /var drive mount into read-only mode..) Long story short, we had to replace the drives, and reinstall everything. Luckily all the data is fine, everything from right up until the crash happened, and we're in the process of restoring all of it right now... yes, at 3:44am Pacific time. Let's just say, it's been a really long day at RiffTrax HQ. We hope to be online again in a couple hours, hopefully no longer than that.

I've been known to visit Rifftrax.com from time-to-time. Sounds yucky - hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.

I think I speak for all (or most, anyway) RiffTrax fans when I say best of luck getting this whole mess sorted out and we really, really appreciate all the sleepless hours you guys are pulling so we can get our bacon fixes again. You guys kick ass.

Computer crashes suck. Good luck guys. I'll be there when you get back on line.

So did we crash your site or the evil computer?

This time looks like only the forums are down.

Not for me. The blog's working, but the forum and main site are down. Rifftrax.com had this note:
Site off-line
Pardon our dust! RiffTrax is still currently undergoing maintenance. We'll be back soon!
Updated: 1:01pm 2/3/2009
I guess they're still cleaning up the mess from the live riff.

Yeah, weird. The forum was working perfectly for me an hour ago, and while I can still see the page, any time I click on a thread some application tries to open and asks me if I want to save. Ah well. They'll get it sorted out. Those guys work hard.

Mike's epic adventure with bacon must be generating so much internet interest, it's causing the servers to crash. Again. Oh, poor RiffTrax.

Yeah, really sorry about that. We had to restart the server and when we did, there were some things still not right with our config, and it wouldn't let us bring things back up. Everything is golden now and we don't anticipate any problems like this for some time (Although we are building a new database server which might require a few moments of downtime... but we'll be able to warn you about that when the time comes!)

Okay . . . every time I click the forum link, it downloads some weird file (in Chrome).
In IE, it give me the 404 page..
UPDATE:
Alright, it seems that the setup that the forum has now just doesn't like Chrome. And I had to bookmark the site again in IE . . . but at least it works on that browser.

Everytime I try to go to the rifftrax home page I get a gray box asking me if I want to save the program or find a file to open it. I can go to the forum but I can't go to the home page. I thought everything was fixed?
