I enjoyed Mike's solo effort and I like William Castle, so I'm crossing my fingers that the extra riffs make it extra funny. I believe they have plans for NOTLD and that leave Carnival, which was funny but also was slanted heavily toward trivia so it'll be interesting to hear what they do with that one. Oh and Mike looks great as Price. Edit (Just paid for it, no rifftrax player yet for this one, damn)

Sigh.
In some ways this makes sense, but in a lot of was it annoys the hell out of me.
I already have all these movies and have already seen them riffed, albeit just by Mike.
But, that means that I already have them, so I just need to get the RiffTrax and I'm good to go, right.
But, I don't like all the syncing sh|t. (Never have--it's why I've only purchased roughly a quarter of the RiffTrax, but most of the shorts.) Plus this movie is already owned by Legend, so why aren't they offering this as a package. Of course, I already have it from them with just Mike, so why should I buy it from them again. (This is all very close to double-dipping.) Plus, I'm not into watching the same movie riffed over and over. Not that I don't ever repeat watch my RiffTrax/MST3K and such, but this was an effort that could have gone to a new unriffed movie that I hadn't seen riffed before. Baaah! Just plain annoying. It's not good when the people you want to make you laugh start annoying you. Not that it's any skin off of their backs. Unless they were counting on my money.
EDIT: I do see that they have this as VOD, my bad. All other points of, uh, disappointment still apply.
Let's see if I take as much heat for this as I did for my disappointment with CT over in their sub-board...

Let's see if I take as much heat for this as I did for my disappointment with CT over in their sub-board... Well, that does come across as pretty strong I mean, the way you put it, they're pretty much screwed from the start, no matter how they release the commentary. Is it really that annoying to just not buy it?

The Legend releases are now officially RiffTrax's KTMA. Only no Sandy Frank!

The Legend releases are now officially RiffTrax's KTMA. It took me a second to realize it was Mike as VP. I'd love to see this and NOTLD and Carnival, all out before Halloween...it would make a great night of tv fun.

Somehow this one escaped me originally, so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully the trio will do NOTLD & Carnival of Souls I hope so too, and at this point I'd be surprised if they didn't. Carnival of Souls is my favorite of the Legend releases, so I especially look forward to that one.

The Legend releases are now officially RiffTrax's KTMA. Only no Sandy Frank! That's exactly what I thought. The big difference being that the KTMA eps were and are mostly lost to the world, where-as you've been able to buy all of the original Mike-riffed Legend films at any time from release up to now. You can go get this one right now from Amazon.com for $13.49. Is it really that annoying to just not buy it? Well, no, it's not annoying to not buy it. But it is annoying to see them finally doing some more old/cheesy/PD movies, but then it turns out it's ones that have already been done, and by them. And kind of smell a little of Legend double-dipping.

This is the funniest non-short Rifftrax in ages.

This is the funniest non-short Rifftrax in ages. Maybe we should start taking customer testimonials for our site. Do you accept baked goods as payment?* * Baked goods not available

^ I feel for you guy's - I was just at the Rifftrax forum and saw someone complaining about this... you ever feel like you can't win for losing? (You do new movies and you get hell, you do these oldies.... and you get hell. I think if you pulled a riff miracle, got Joel and Mike together to do Gymkata, somehow, someway... you'd get hell.) ;D Though I've been known to dole out some hell myself, this time I wont... though my review wasn't as glowing as the mighty trumpster's (No baked goods for me) House on Haunted Hill at MJs - but I do think it's the funniest of the re-do's.

After finally managing to download the ding-dang thing I have to say it was worth the wait. A beautiful World of Warcraft riff had me roaring (as I am a WoW widower). And I always enjoy a Fawlty Towers reference. Good clean delivery of the old Mike jokes, and great new ones. Indeed this is the best of the recent 3-riffers. 9/10
I'll take a dozen crullers.

I have all the old Mike Legend dvds, but I can't wait to get this new version. I hope RT continues with the older movies, a new NOTLD & Carnival Of Souls with Kevin & Bill would be awesome.

I just bought this one this week and loved it. Pretty funny. This was my first rifftrax that I've bought. Syncing doesn't bother me. I do have the rifftrax player but it doesn't work for me. I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong, but I'll survive with syncing.
I also saw the three riffer of Plan 9 From Outer Space. I have always wondered why MST3K never riffed the worst movie ever made, but the rifftrax version is awesome.
I would love to see a three riffer version of Carnival of Souls.

NOTLD has already been announced. Mike, Kevin and Bill are riffing Legend's new 3-D version of the film. It's being released theatrically on April 1, and the DVD release and RiffTrax will follow.
