Poor KR my hinder. He practically ruined the movie. I'm not a fan, can you tell? Right now I'm between two books- "What Jane Austen Ate and Charles Dickens Knew: From Fox Hunting to Whist-The Facts of Daily Life in 19th-Century England"-Daniel Pool -Pretty neat book. Lots of referencing to the classic novels from the period. It's a great intro book for anyone who may be having a hard time plowing through some of these wonderful books. It's like "The Victorian Era For Dummies". Good read. "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor"-Bruce Campbell -If you haven't read it, you should. It's a wonderful, easy going autobiography. It also gives a great amount of insight into filmmaking and acting without overglorifying the business. It's so normal and honest.

Rüdiger Safranski: Ein Meister aus Deutschland. Intellectual biography of Heidegger. Excellent, as are all of Safranski's efforts in this direction.

"Upright: The Evolutionary Key to Becoming Human" by Craig Stanford. Earlier today I finished "The Lost Painting: Quest for a Caravaggio Masterpiece" by Jonathan Harr.

I'm through most of my research and I'm back to finishing up "Shalimar the Clown" by Salman Rushdie. It's good. Kind of a relief after his last couple of books that I wasn't particularly fond of.
Next up? I'm not sure. Either the new Marquez mini novel or novella, however they classified it, or one of Millhauser's novels as I've only read his short fiction.
