Is there a place that I can buy a Pen-goo-ins shirt? Go to shop.nhl.com If that doesn't work, you can always go to nhl.com

Here I am!
Oh man, this is better than graduating college. This is better than the best... well you can imagine where that's going.
I went down to the South Side after they won and there were just masses of people all hugging and high fiving! It was beautiful. I love this city.
Love my Pens! They went to South Side last night with the cup and just paraded it down the streets and in the bars. I was at a concert or I would have been down there too... oh well! I'm so happy! It feels sooooo goooood.

Carolina Hurricanes have picked up Aaron Ward in a trade today. Just resigned Ruutu for three seasons. Very quietly they are building a very good team for next season. Go Canes!

Hopefully Ward and Walker have made up since this: Boys will be boys. I'm sure they are way past that little thing.

So relieved we landed Tavares in the draft! Though I'm sure when the Islanders made the announcement, Tavares was thinking "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Now if DiPietro gets better, and everyone else stops getting hurt, and we somehow manage to lure someone over the age of 25 who can play offense (seriously, half the team is my age or younger), and finally close on a deal to do something about our arena and stop the threats of relocating to Kansas City...the Islanders might climb out of the basement. The key word there is "might."

As a Pens fan, I feel for the Islanders. I root for them 2nd in the EC. I can even look past the upset of 1993 (seriously, best freakin' Pens team ever and they lost a game 7...)
So go Islanders! Except against the Pens! Woot woot!

Except against the Pens! Woot woot! LOL thanks. The Penguins are a good example of a team that rose from the ashes. Hopefully the Islanders follow suit. We've had so much bad luck for so long. Actually, it was after the 93 series that things started to go downhill LOL.

Karma is a biotch. :-p
I have faith in the Islanders. They've had good picks for a couple years ago. Hopefully in a few years they'll be so good fans of other teams will be claiming they tanked the last few years for those picks, and then we can really relate to one another.

I'm sure that the Islanders will be back. I'm old enough to remember their glory days in the early 1980's; geez those teams were GREAT.

It just feels like it's been going on for so long. Things started to go downhill in 1994, and the past few seasons, we've been the laughingstock of the NHL. The fanbase is really panicking because the team's playing an exhibition game in Kansas City and the owner's dropping hints that he's considering his options if we don't get funding for a new arena. He also admitted recently that he regrets buying the team. Will the madness ever end?
The picks have been good. I just hope the team has some patience in letting them develop, instead of giving up, trading them, and having them do good somewhere else.
