i am SO glad the new shows are back on....i think they have been fantastic, as usual. the dinner party had me crying. i hate it when i mention the office and someone always - but always - says they think/heard that the british version is funnier. i've seen clips of the british version and yes, it is hilarious. but it can't be funnier.
i am hoping that they won't do the usual TV romance thing with jim and pam and have them break up and get back together, break up, etc. they had a hard enough time getting together. i think they should do something different, like make angela get pregnant! who's the father - andy or dwight? that would be awesome.
i about died last week when michael and dwight went to see ryan in new york. those baskeball chicks scoring on dwight! it was too much.

This is a show I really need to check out, but I've been too busy to start any new shows lately. This summer!

So...any speculations?
How many episodes before Angela and Dwight reunite? How many before Jim proposes to Pam? Will we see Jan in a mental hospital...possibly with a visit from Michael? Why does Creed need three chairs?

This is a show I really need to check out, but I've been too busy to start any new shows lately. This summer! If you have Netflix, you can watch all the seasons online and get caught up. If not, rent the DVDs and watch them all. I also recommend www.NBC.com for entire episodes, deleted scenes, and extras. I LOVE THIS SHOW!

creed....that guy has issues. i love him.
pam better not turn jim down. i want a jim. where can i get one for my office? i really need one.
and yes, cap'n...i am always kind of reluctant to start watching a new show because i don't want something else i have to remember to tape, watch, etc. but the office is definitely worth it.

Best comedy on television, hands down. I've been hooked since early in the second season when I saw the Halloween episode. Then I saw The Dundies after a friend downloaded it from iTunes and dragged his entire desktop computer out to my house so we could watch it with friends. We watched three hours straight that night and laughed more than I had laughed in a long time.
I think they've done a great job with the Jim/Pam thing after faltering a bit last season. And I like the setup with the ring for these last few episodes this season. Jim said Pam will never see it coming. Will we? I have a feeling the writers will wow us.
And I'll help anyone find a Jim for their office if someone will help me find a Pam for mine. I'm not a television relationship freak, but I like those two.
I've also watched the first season of the British Office, and it is, indeed, hilarious. It doesn't hold up as well for me as the US version, but I will say that "Freelove Freeway" was amazingly funny. Good stuff.

I about choked when Jim fake proposed to Pam. I couldn't believe it was happening, and I got so excited! Anyway, I hope Jim doesn't for real propose for a while...even though they've had chemistry for a long time, they've only just started dating for real. Right now, it seems like we don't know much about their relationship right now...at least not in the way we've known about Michael and Jan.
Speaking of which...I wonder when he's gonna go crawling back to her. I hate their relationship yet love it at the same time. Dinner Party was hysterical and oh so painful! I think if Jan can get it together they could weirdly be meant for each other.
Can't wait to see the new episode tomorrow night!

Love it! So who's the spin-off going to be about? My money's on Andy. I don't know if the writers are messing with us or not, but they have released the title of the season finale. It could be a fakeout, though. You can see the name at www.officetally.com. Just look to the right under "Upcoming." It's listed in the May 15 slot. Note: Do NOT click this link if you want to avoid all possible spoilers. The title of the episode may be a spoiler.I've only seen the name. I haven't read the synopsis from NBC because I hate spoilers. I hate the fact that I know the name of the episode, but sometime things like this can't be helped I don't want any of these characters to leave, but we have had quite a bit less Oscar, Kevin, Angela and a lot of the secondary characters this season. And it's been too long since Todd Packer was roaming the Scranton office.

Thanks for not 'naming the name' of the episode, Mod. I almost clicked on your link, but I don't want to know either.
