This reminds me of the situation in 2001 when Colorado went into Lincoln and demolished the then #1 Cornhuskers in the last game of the season, 62-36. This allowed CU to go to the Big 12 Championship game, where they beat the #3 Longhorns, and jumped Nebraska in the AP and ESPN polls.
So logically, Nebraska got to play in the National Championship game.
They got absolutely destroyed on their home field for their final game, didn't even play in their conference title game, and still got the BCS bid.
Then there was the whole mess in 2004 when Auburn went undefeated and didn't get a shot. Not to mention Boise State and Utah who seem to do it every year and don't get a shot.
Every year, it's the same crap. It's enough to make me quit watching and turn over to the NBA. That'll never happen, but it's justified at this point.

Well, Penn State and 'Bama both choked. I thought they'd both do well. . .really thought SC was overrated.
Seeing as how my commentary in this thread has been horrible, short sighted, and generally moronic, I hereby bequeath all my (limited) football knowledge to whomever first wants it.
I think Texas and Florida have wins left in them, which, with my track record, means they'll both stink it up.

While I'm sad for my good friend TomServo69 that Alabama stunk it up in their two biggest games this year, when it comes to Nick Saban...well, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving d-bag.

Well, whatever, teams lose games, it's as simple as that. My Bama team wasn't ready and got their teeth kicked in. But, still, 12 wins for a team that was universally picked to finish 3rd in their own division, well, it's better than we all thought. Hey, there's always next year.
Roll Tide!
