Yeah, I gave up on the Simpsons and Family Guy as well. About four years ago for Simpsons and two years ago for Family Guy. Family Guy degraded into "Remember that Time When..." so fast, and that gay guy (y'know, the softspoken one)'s voice that they made EVERY flashback character speak with got to me real fast.
Simpsons I just stopped watching because I didn't have regular T.V. for a while, and I just sorta fell out of the practice of it. I don't have ANY T.V. at all now (old antenna broke, and now it won't work even if I fix it), so yeah, I don't watch The Simpsons either.

A cold turkey quit of 24 as Season 6 wandered into repeating previous storylines with random characters. CSI Miami and Without a Trace as they the soap opera stuff took put the cases on the back burner.
As for WTF was I thinking, Press Your Luck was the first that came to my mind. Goofy animated whammies and little else.

I haven't watched a single series of TV comedy/ drama since Northern Exposure and MST3K went off the air. I've tried to watch House, CSI, Lost etc. and they all bore me. And situation comedies are rigor mortis, or, at least the symptoms start up on me as I'm watching. Bad, bad, bad comedies.
As for shows that I watched that I wonder, what the heck was I thinking, Syd and Marty Krofft shows of the early 1970's come to mind. Land of the Lost, H. R. Pufnstuf, The Krofft Supershow etc. etc. I know I was in my single digits back then but, man, those shows are awful!

Bones. It was the first time I ever quit watching a show out of protest, but the ending of last season's Gormagon arc and despoiling of a great character ruined it for me and made me so angry I quit. I agree, that was idiotic and the Angela/Hodgens romance resolution was a let down as well (though they never worked for me as a couple). Buuuut the leads are hilarious with that Hepburn/Tracy schtick of theirs and they were the reason I stuck with it. The last ep with them joining the circus had me laughing so hard. I guess I'll forgive them for their traspasses (poor Zack).

I do not watch series television as a rule. Only a few shows each week. I have stopped watching CSI: Miami long ago. I have completely stopped watching the Fox Sunday night line-up. Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy & American Dad. I know that there are others but none are coming to mind at the moment.

Family Guy should have never come back.
I really loved nip/tuck and once season 3 rolled around I could tell it was headed for cancellation, it's ridiculous now.
The Office, I watched 15 minutes because a friend forced me, that was enough.

Definitely The Simpsons. I don't laugh at all anymore. Just let it die a respectable death, already. (Too late, I guess). And Family Guy. I liked Brian and Stewie (loved that ep where they're travelling and have to get into a gutted, dead camel to survive the night, Stewie says he's not getting in, then finally relents, Brian says something like, "I know it's disgusting, but when your life is on the line... Oh, look, a Comfort Inn).
But they're just getting stupid now. Pretty gross to have a baby want to sleep with everyone, including the dog. That's not being creative, that's just, well, we'll see how gross we can be. And I liked it better when you weren't sure if the adults understood what Stewie was saying, or if it was just the audience, (and I guess, Brian) who knew what he was saying and the family just heard a bunch of nonsense. And when Stewie and Brian seemed to be the only baby and dog who could talk, like it was just something about that family. Then they made other babies talk and Brian's gay cousin, and they just ruined the whole uniqueness of it.
South Park is another let's-just-see-how-gross-we-can-be-and-who-cares-about-funny type of show.
Two and a Half Men isn't funny anymore. I thought it was pretty cute when it first came out.
As for shows that I used to watch, and can't watch in reruns anymore, that would be Friends. I'm thinking, what did I like about this? It's just annoying now. I know there are alot of people on this board who thought that about the show from the get-go, but I did like it when it first came out, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.
I'm sure there's more, that if I saw a rerun of something I used to like, it wouldn't hold up.
All those Seventies sitcoms that I watched when I was young are just stupid crap to me now. Happy Days, LaVerne & Shirley, Three's Company. Blech. I'm sure I couldn't sit through Fantasy Island or Loveboat these days, either.
Partridge Family might be okay, and I still like The Monkees.
I'm sure there's plenty I'm missing because, well, I don't watch them anymore.

I stopped watching Adult Swim as much. I just tune in accasionally for American Dad re-runs and whenever a new season of Venture Bros. comes out (I dearly love that show).
I was a casual viewer of Heroes for it's first season. It was merely an okay show that was well paced - then it became complete and utter crap.
Let's see. Current shows that I watch:
House MD Lost Doctor Who The Daily Show The Colbert Report The Venture Bros.

I've recently started to forget to watch the new episodes of House, and not really regretting it all that much. The formulaic nature of how the diseases/disorders are diagnosed has started to get to me. Almost every episode goes something like this: 1) Strange symptoms, no clear diagnosis. 2) Treat for what they think might be the problem. 3) Treatment makes it worse. 4) Some vague reference makes House instantly realize what the true problem is. 5) Happiness! Oh, and sometime during the course of the episode will be the appropriate amount of romantic angst between the staff members thrown in for good measure. This whole story arc with #13 and her Huntington's is getting a bit old, as well. Oh, well. When I was in late elementary school and middle school, I was a huge anime fan. I'm not ashamed to admit it. The only anime series I'm still able to enjoy at all is Cowboy Bebop. I'm not really able to get through an entire episode of the other series that I used be a fan of.

MST3K
Kidding! I'd have to say Law & Order. When it got to the point where the story lines were so similar that I wasn't sure if I'd seen the episode or not, I gave up.

I stopped watching...TV
I just can't seem to be able to sit in front of the TV at the same dang time the same dang week and watch the same program. I DVR stuff occasionally (like SNL when there is a promising host) but that's about it.

Current shows that are on that I've stopped watching.
ER I watched the first season season and a half with my wife but quickly decided nobody and nothing could make hospitals and doctors entertaining to me. I've been there on the slab and in those beds and in those rooms. If there's a hell on earth it's a hospital. Brrrrr.
Mythbusters The presence of Kerri can't even get me to watch this anymore. I couldn't care less what Mentos Candy does to a liter of Coke. A snooze fest.
Whatever that show was that featured trains on the Discovery Channel A show about a bag of hammers would be just as exciting. The guy tried to make it exciting. I mean he really did, but trains don't excite me. My wife insisted we sit there and watch it. I've never seen the end of the show. I always got up and left to go to bed. Worked as a good sedative I suppose.
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives & Ace of Cakes Very amused by them when they first came out but they have both become very repetitive shows in format and style. I can't tell one episode from another most times. I wouldn't want to be Guy's bowels for love nor money. Stopped watching them both.

I agree that Guy is doomed to early death but what a way to go! It's one of the few shows that the wife and I agree on and the fact that Brad Keely (former MST editor) is involved is a plus.
