I used to love Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, but like I said its just all so repetitive now. Even Guy's praise and comments aren't changing that much after he hunches over and takes a big bite of whatever greasy sandwich he's chowing down on. It's really becoming same old, same old. I like Guy and think he's a funny and high energy sort of person I'd like to meet.I didn't know about the MST connection. Killer! Maybe I should reconsider.

Current shows that are on that I've stopped watching. ER I watched the first season season and a half with my wife but quickly decided nobody and nothing could make hospitals and doctors entertaining to me. I've been there on the slab and in those beds and in those rooms. If there's a hell on earth it's a hospital. Brrrrr. You've been on the slab at a hospital?! Holy smokes, Doctor Z! Are you a vampire or a zombie IRL? And I agree with you about hospitals, by the way.

I have the opposite opinion: I still like the show, but I think he is the most ginormous douche bag on the face of the earth. He makes me not want to watch, but I can't help myself. His cringe inducing comments make me want to pull an Elvis on my HDTV. For a change of pace, Doc, have you ever watched Man Vs. Food on Travel Channel? Very similar, yet enough of a difference that it might pique your interests more.

I should look up more stuff before use it in a sentence. This is starting to become a bad habit! Forgive me, I'm getting to be an old man.

Forgive me, I'm getting to be an old man. Doc, have you tried going into "Modify Profile?" Down in "Account Preferences" you can toggle "Show Age" to no. Worked wonders for me.

Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't tease you. Actually when you said "slab," what came to mind was a line from an old song: "So come up to the lab And see what's on the slab...."

All those Seventies sitcoms that I watched when I was young are just stupid crap to me now....Three's Company. Blech. I still love "Three's Company." Yes, all the episodes are pretty much the same (with the plot revolving around a misunderstanding lol), but John Ritter does great physical comedy and it's a pretty charming cast for the most part. I stopped watching reruns of "Seinfeld" awhile back. Still love that show, just seen them so many times.

South Park. Comedy Central kept changing the times and then they would show like one new show and then reruns would be shown. I lost track of the show and really don't care any more. I dont' really watch anymore because to me it seems like their trying too hard. They started with construction paper cutouts, and the show had a fly-by-night, nickel and dime feel; and combined with original story ideas to make it rather entertaining. Unfortunately, the last four or five years have shown a tremendous "improvement" in graphic quality which undermines the original feel of the show, and the storylines are just spoofs of pop culture. Imagine MST upgrading with similiar high quality effects- I shudder at the thought. After season seven, there aren't many episodes that I need to see more than once.

I'm still a follower of South Park, but I'm completely done with The Simpsons. I haven't watched them in ten years and have absolutely no interest in starting again. I saw the movie and was quite disappointed - virtually no Monte Burns? Time for that series to go to bed.
I also stopped watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I still kind of like the Karl character, but I can't stand listening to Shake. Possibly the most annoying character in the history of everything.

Sienfeld(used to like it but now I just wan't to smack all the characters)
Mad about You- I like Paul Rieser but the woman, (helen Hunt?) grated on me and I hated that they had a kid
Full House-What the HELL was I thinking, when i watched that? Maybe it was my meds
Family Matters- Just became the Urkel show and I couldn't stand it
Everybody Love Raymond-Used to like it but now...Ray Romano makes me want to punch something, him, most likely
Family Guy-everyone else nailed it for me
Good Eats-I just grew to dislike W(or whatever the ll her name was) and Alton Brown became snobbish to me

Smurfs and Snorks. I ran across both recently and suffered through a few minutes before my inner child slunk away in shame. Both ran in the 80's. I remember the story lines as being on the level of Dick and Jane on Prozac. See Gargamel. See Gargamel chase smurfs. While the Snorks had a less creepy female/male ratio I found it as frightening as the smurfs. The pain!

Seinfeld - Used to watch it every week when it was still new, have hardly watched it in reruns since 1998. The characters are such bastards I can't stand it. MADTV - I never was a huge fan of this show, but when it first started, it had its moments. Now the writers can't seem to tell the difference between funny and annoying. It's so incredibly stupid it seems like a parody of what stupid people think is funny, except that nobody would write a show like that week after week after week. (but I digress)

I used to occasionally watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 with my sister. Granted, it's on hiatus now while they work out their personal matters, but the show is just stupid now. It started out as a relatively interesting premise for a reality show (how does a family cope with raising a set of twins and a set of sextuplets). But now it's degenerated into "Family with eight children lives in a huge McMansion. Family gets showered with free stuff every week. Family take part in crossover promotions with network's other shows. Family's marriage self-destructs on air." At this point, they just need to pull the plug. If they feel they owe it to their fans to see how the kids grow up, they can do a reunion show in 10 years or something.
