You may not have seen this one: My brother has been showing be the Irn Bru ads on Youtube, and they're all hilarious. Haven't seen that one yet.

As bad as most commercials are, the ones that are carving out a special place in my spleen are the ones that are using disgusting, repulsive, sloppy eating sounds. There are more and more, too. Carl's Jr. was the first one to really sicken me, but now I hate Twix and Kit Kat commercials equally.
I just saw a salsa commercial that showed a sexy guy sexily cramming what was apparently a nacho-shaped microphone into his mouth and chewing. Sickening.

And I've long hated Carl's Jr. ads. In addition to disgusting eating noises they used to run ads showing dumb guys in supermarkets and say "Without us, some guys would starve." I always thought, fine let 'em starve, thin the heard. A lot of ads seem to try and depict the customer as idiot. I can't see how that sales pitch psychology is successful.

Oh, God. I despise those Carl's Jr. commercials. Just the lowest form of advertising, selling the lowest form of food (if you could call it that) available.

I liked the one with Audrina Partridge though...

we don't have carl's jr. on my side of the world, we have hardees, which is the same thing - same food, same commercials, just different name. and i LOATHE the spots they run for them. one of the worst ones for me is the guy who is supposed to be hot in a greasy i'm-so-manly-cause-i'm-workin-on-my-car kind of way. while he's working, he has a hot girlfriend who is whining about how bored she is, and when are they leaving? he takes a big noisy bite out of his burger and totally ignores her. whoever comes up with these ads obviously hates women and basic eating etiquette.

I thought they hated MEN, because of all the "guys would starve without fast-food" spots. Do they hate men AND women? Hmmm...

Does anyone else remember the commercial for bendable eyeglasses, where they show a plane heading for a building and the building bending out of the way so it doesn't get hit. I think it was on when the Sci Fi eps were first shown.
