Here's my Top-10 Monty Python episodes....
10-"Face the Press"; This episode features the Ministry of Silly Walks.
9-"The Royal Philharmonic Goes to the Bathroom"; The gag is more about the pallbearers dying and getting put into a casket!
8-"Scott of the Antartic"; The whole episode actually starts with "Scott of the Antartic" and is most of the sketch itself.
7-"How not to be Seen"; Known fact: There's a scene cut-out where Jesus is crucified on a telephone pole but was seen in the end very quickly!
6-"The Ant, an Introduction"; This has the Lumberjack sketch and that's okay!
5-"How to Recognize Different Parts of the Body"; Naughty Bits, and more naughty bits! And the living room is a part of your body!
4-"The Spanish Inquisition"; No one really expects the Spanish Inquisition!
3-"Spam"; Art goes on strike, overacting actors, and Spam Spam Spam Spam...
2-"Buzz Aldrin Show"; The Bishop, Semprini, Architects, Masons, and a bunch of Gumbys! That's a Python Show in a nutshell.
1-"Full Frontal Nudity"; Dead Parrot Sketch, 'nuff said.

I never thought of Python having "seasons". But I can say I find something funny in every episode.
"C'mon Parky..." "Don't do it, Parky!"

-Exploding Penguins -Self-Defense Against Fresh Fruit -Upperclass Twit of the Year -The Eurovision parody that ends with Graham Chapman singing Bing Tiddle Tiddle -Come to think of it...pretty much every sketch from How to Recognize Different Parts of the Body -THE BISHOP! -The Hospital for Overdramatic Acting -Spam -Wuthering Heights Performed in Semaphore Code -The Man Who Turned into a Scotsman
There's a few others I love that I don't know the names for: -Terry Jones is an old lady on a game show who wants to win a blow to the head. -The various religions, that includes Terry Jones as the vicar for a church of loonies.

When Hitler, I mean Hilter, re-surfaces in England, with new political asperations.

Hey! Just wanted to give a shout out for the 'new' Python documentary.
Some of you may have already seen it as it came out last year. I just discovered it last night on Instant Viewing on Netflix.
Here's the intro:
It's in 6 parts, each part approx 55 mins. Almost 6HOURS of new Python. Yeah.
I've only watched the first episode, and it's the best one yet. Very thorough.

I haven't seen all of their stuff, but I usually get a good laugh out of them whenever they're on.

I just remember catching it on PBS, late at night in the 70s, and it had FULL FRONTAL NUDITY!
That was so cool!

Dennis Moore is easily my favorite sketch; it's the first one that came to mind when I saw the thread title.
In a close 2nd for me, I'd pick The Most Awful Family In Britain. The whole thing is so wonderfully ridiculousness, and then seeing Gilliam with the beans just pushes me from laughing fits into outright hysterics.
And I don't believe it was from Flying Circus, but Four Yorkshiremen is one of my favorites too.
