Sign of the 3 Eyed MenIt'll cost you $140 but I think It's a must have for fans. Many of the masters were lost (damn you Kenny Roger's brother!) so having found some of those is a plus (I hope they found the master for their masterpiece, "Easter Everywhere" or cleaned up some of that muddiness from the Charley release). Initial reviews have been glowing. Plus I see they are going to be playing in San Francisco with the Quicksilver Messenger Service Aug 30 and May 1st (lucky bastards) Aside from that, Mojo Magazine has a great piece on the history of Psychedelic music, and the issue includes a CD compilation. (some of this stuff I've never heard off. Some, like "The Balloon Farm" I'm going to have to purchase). Love that sound - Texas might have given us the Dallas Cowboys, George W and that annoying guy with the harmonica from Rocketship X-Men, but it was also the birthplace of Psychedelic rock, so that covers a multitude of sins.
