"Are You Happy In Your Work" from I Accuse My Parents is very catchy, and inspired one of my favorite host segments!
"Yipes, Stripes" from Teenage Strangler is also a real toe-tapper!

I don't think it's a secret that I like the opening song from Dr. Z. It's just so bizarre. And the part of me that likes Cutting Crew and Corey Hart-type music also likes Edge of a Dream from Space Mutiny. Also, I like '50s rock, so I like the songs the band from Horror of Party Beach plays.

"Are You Happy In Your Work" from I Accuse My Parents is very catchy, and inspired one of my favorite host segments! It's very infectious. I've caught myself humming it in the grocery store. I really liked the score in Ring of Terror, especially when they're in the Cafeteria and when he visits the morgue. Didn't like the opening credits music, though. The Atomic Brain had a really interesting score, too, even if it was a little cartoony.

actually that reminds me of the girlschool song from "zombie nightmare" -- come on let's go! (let's go!) kinda toe-tappin' stuff. Speaking of Zombie Nightmare, every time I hear Ace of Spades by Motorhead I can't help but think of the opening credits to that movie. Strange to think MST3K and that lousy flick redefined one of the all-time hard rock classics for me, but they did. And you know it's a bad movie when the absolute highlight of the movie is the opening credits.

I wish they'd release the soundtrack to The Incredibly Strange Creatures! I second that! Well, maybe not the WHOLE soundtrack. Most of the score can be left out, as far as I'm concerned. But I really actually like those songs in that movie. "Ship Out of Shape" -- "Shick Out Of Shape," according to Mike and the bots! -- is so catchy and dangerous it should be considered a supervirus! I really like the other song that same brunette does called "It's not you," or something. The one that has a Patsy-Cline-Leslie-Gore vibe to it. I know it's their job, but I always feel bad that they make fun of the song and her singing. I think she was really good! Even that one western folk song is pretty good. The one playing while the weird guy -- yeah, that narrows it down -- is walking sullenly down the street. Too bad you can't hear a damn word of it!!! HAHAHA!!! Me too! "Shook Out of Shape" is fun, and the girl singing it looks like she's having a good time. I also like the song that plays while Carmelita is stripping - it has a nice dreamy feel to it. I'll add my vote to the heap for "Yipe Stripes" and the Horror of Party Beach band.

I only found out about the very good '60s band Beau Brummels entirely due to their appearance in ep #523 - Village of the Giants. Thanks, MST! Here's a video of them singing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9mq5bA0ksU

I actually liked the "3M" theme from Mitchell as well as the end credit sequence from "Final Justice".
I also enjoyed the instrumental themes from Gamera vs. Gaos (the Japanese version has much clearer quality). The themes from Diabolik are quite repetitive but I still enjoy them.
"Driving off to the store." "Gonna buy milk and bread." "Meet Delores for lunch." "Hope they're servin that ham."

I always liked the music played in the opening credits of Village of the Giants. That was actually released as a single. The single version was used during the opening credits of "Death Proof." It's called "The Last Race. The opening theme from "The Green Slime" is really good in a 60's psychadellic way. monstermoviemusic.blogspot.com/2007/07/green-slime-richard-delvy-theme-song.htmlI also like "Hear the Engines Roll Now" A.K.A. "Idiot Control Now" from Pod People. It's kind of catchy.

I agree with pups, I like the Green Slime Theme.
I also like the opening to Village of the Giants, kinda psychedelic.
I actually kind of like the opening to Girl in Gold Boots too.

Sorry, but "Ace of Spades" will forever be associated with playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for me. I think of that first, Zombie Nightmare second.
I have a sort of fondness for California Lady. I don't think it's a particularly good song, but I love that entire episode to pieces.

The Skydivers had "Stratosphere Boogie" by Jimmy Bryant and Speedy West. That's a truly amazing instrumental rock piece. Even an incompetent director like Coleman Francis knew he couldn't get it wrong if he used it for the big dance party scene. The only problem is that Speedy West wasn't there. Speedy played the steel guitar that was so prominently a part of the song. Jimmy Bryant played the electric guitar. I have a CD of their music, and it's definitely worth checking out. It even has "Stratosphere Boogie" on it.

I *really* like Karen Lawrence's song What A Lovely Way To Go. The opening song in Soultaker - I lucked out finding it and downloading it! I listen to it a lot. I like the ending song from Final Justice. I can't find it online though. It's called You Better Run by Bill Scott. I also like the Mitchell theme which I had prior cuz of Hoyt. Oh, Hoyt! How could you! Haha. The opening theme song in Dr. Z also caught my attention instantly and I often think of the quote Servo says as this song plays in the background "He doesn't inspire this kind of music!" when I hear it. If anyone looks for it on YouTube or online in general it's by Jamie DeFrates and it's called World War II Boy.
