Be ascared. Be very ascared. Gulp. Anyone going to brave watching this tonight? I might give it a shot, just to see.

For what it's worth, the Chicago Tribune liked it, but I'm watching the Red Wings and the Blackhawks.

I was cracking up when they started singing "You're the One That I Want" because all I could think of was M&TB when they had their Swing Choir show-down with the Mads. ;D

I stopped watching this, but I did watch parts of it tonight because Kristen Chenowith was on and I like her voice, so I wanted to see what she would sing. I saw her on Broadway in "Wicked".
I just made an observation that I thought was kind of a cute little wink-wink-nudge-nudge kind of inside joke: I forget the actor's name, but he was in "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. He played that annoying insurance salesman Ned Ryerson. He was on the show tonight, and they named him Mr. Ryerson. Just thought that was kinda neat.
BTW: This show has some of the worst lip-synching I've ever SEEN! Gol.

I ended up watching this show on a regular basis after all. It's kinda cute. Lea Michelle has a great voice. The ditzy cheerleader, Britanny, is kind of funny: "You know what I found out: dolphins are just gay sharks." "I think my cat is reading my diary." When evil Sue Sylvester is trying to get New Directions disbanned and Brit and Santana are giving her the dirt on the group: Sue: "Anything else?" Brit: "Sometimes I forget my middle name." The lip-synching still stinks, by the way. I just bumped this up in case anyone's curious: They're doing a Rocky Horror episode, not this Tuesday, but next. Might prove interesting. Don't know how they'll clean it up and justify doing this as a HIGH SCHOOL PLAY. Not exactly family fare.

I liked the Rocky Horror episode; it wasn't worth the hype FOX kept giving it, but it was enjoyable. I really liked their version of "Science Fiction/Double Feature" and Mercedes (who played their version of Frank-N-Furter) really had the vocals to do "Sweet Transvestite", even if the word changing was irritating.
I really do like Glee, and I think it really is helping people who don't listen to older music get into it. I mean, there are people I know at my high school who thought the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zep were the same band. I'm serious : (

This show has officially run out of ideas, I think. Kind of like beating a dead horse. I don't even remember the new kids' names.
But, anyway, I just bumped this because I thought the current eating disorder storyline is pretty stupid. Um--- this girl is so insecure about her weight that she never actually WEIGHS herself? And she doesn't realize that NONE of her other clothes are getting tight? Just her costumes at school? Is this evil cheerleader breaking into her house and altering clothes from her closet?
Lame!

Corey Monteith who plays Finn was found DEAD! That's pretty sad and scary. He had drug problems, I guess. I wonder what they'll do with that. Too young. People in that biz just throw their lives away. (Well, not just show biz folks, but it's pretty rampant in the entertainment world). That's too bad.

I think this show is cursed. First Corey Monteith, then Mark Salling who played Puck killed himself (and was a pedophile apparently). And now poor Naya Rivera who played Santana. She drowned in Like Piru in California. They found her 4 yr. old son on the boat they rented by himself. He said she was able to get him back to the boat but couldn't save herself. They just found her body not too long ago after a long search.
That's so sad, the poor woman and her poor kid.
