I don't watch a lot of musicals but did want to add my vote to West Side Story. I had heard so much about this film for years, plus I've always liked to dance (not professionally, just when going out clubbing, etc) and like watching gymnastics when it shows up on TV, so that I finally rented it a couple years ago. I have to admit I liked it quite a bit, though not so much the "mushy" parts , as when Natalie Wood sings dreamy tunes like "Tonight" (I guess I'm not so-fis-ti-kated enough to appreciate them .

Along with some other stuff already mentioned, as classic converted stage production musicals I like The Music Man and Gypsy, amongst a few others.
The Muppets. Duh. I enjoy most of the older Disney output, although with the exception of the Lion King most of the recent movies annoy me.
I like the stuff the Marx Brother did, like Cocoanuts and Animal Crackers, that could be considered musical films.
Hmm. Random stuff. I like Nightmare Before Christmas, Team America, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Hair, Rock 'n' Roll High School, etc.
I adore Steven Sondheim and usually enjoy musical films he's been involved in. Conversely, if it has Andrew Lloyd Webber on it, I hate it.

The animated film "Rock and Rule" was pretty good. Not a whole LOT of songs in it, but I like the song Debbie Harry and what's-his-name from Cheap Trick sing towards the end.

Rocky Horror Picture Show, hands down. I am biased, because it's my favorite movie, but it's just so fun. The songs are great, Meat Loaf's is probably my favorite, along with Time Warp. And while the plot is kind of confusing, the show itself is a satire of horror films, so I guess it's supposed to be heh.
