Oh I'm not complaining and as Mike said in "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", there are... ways. I'll buy the trax, and get to listen to it eventually, It'll just take me a while. (Sample was great BTW)

I knew about The Room before this Rifftrax was announced. This movie is just so bloody funny on its own, so I wasn't sure how much that Mike & The Gang (also the name of my acappella polka band) could add to The Room experience... but, the sample alone had me in stitches, and looks to be one of their absolute best (that whole last line is the title of Mike & The Gang's first single). I will definitely get this episode and I hope they will seek more of these hilarious, yet obscure films.

They're actually playing this movie throughout the summer here at a little theatre. I went to the first screening and was blown away. It's something that must be seen to be believed. It's that kind of movie. I use the term 'movie' very loosely.

I too found a copy of the movie at Amazon for not too bad a price. What's the deal with the $2K copy?

Oh, Lord. I just finished watching this one and it's glorious. It's a bit more obscure and a bit more "blue" (the movie is borderline Cinemax softcore, with worse writing, directing, and acting) than what Rifftrax usually does, but it's hilarious, both the film and the riffing.
"I did not hit her! I did naaat!
...Oh hi, Mark."

Just watched it this evening. What a moronic film. There's no way on Earth it was intended as a comedy. With a little tweaking, a few scenes are almost there in a surreal, bizarrely humorous way (such as the constant stream of random neighbors walking into The Room), but it's pretty obvious that most of it is intended to be serious.
The commentary is a gas, though. It's not 100% solid, but it has a huge number of great moments, and combined with the trainwreck of a film, it's one of my top few releases so far. Definitely worth the buy.

Oh, Hi MST3K Discussion Board; Oh, Hi Mike, Kevin, Bill and all the Disembodio party folks; Oh, Hi fan peoples whos like to read this and laff!
Jesus.
Funniest...Rifftrax...EVER!!! ;D ;D ;D
I howled with laughter all the way through this movie and Rifftrax. Nothing Rifftrax has done so far has come close to this one as far as pure belly laughs for me from start to finish!
First of all nothing, and I mean nothing is more funny than a movie made by some twisted genius who succeeds in getting his flawed vision up on screen without any self-consciousness as to his lack of talent or presence. NO WAY I'm believing in the marketing hype on the DVD cover claiming this was an intentional "Black Comedy." Bull Hockey! Herr Wiseau was letting us share in his special insight into life and love in, lets see, where was this thing filmed? Oh, yeah, San Francisco, I'm guessing. There were only about 10 million establishing shots every 3 minutes or so in this film. Oh man. What a scream. Get this DVD and Rifftrax. You won't be sorry!

I forgot to mention earlier: despite the fact that he is American, Wiseau has an accent that sounds exactly like the gal from Werewolf. I'm serious, it was spot-on.

DoctorZ Johnson is right!! Because of your signature, I imagined Tommy Wiseau screaming this, which is even funnier...

You are tearing me apart, Discussion Board!
Glad you guys like it. The guys loved doing it (I think this is one of their favorite movies now)... unfortunately it's not selling so well. It seems a lot of people would rather pirate it, which is a shame. It's reasons like that which puts the guys off from doing more obscure and cheesy movies.
So, if you guys know anyone who is posting torrent links to this, encourage them to take it down, and buy the track. I'd say "ask them to donate" but people who are pirating this were never going to buy it in the first place.
