This was the one I've been hoping for since the beginning, but I really wish it was Mike, Kevin & Bill. Quoting Conor from the Rifftrax forum again: The next RiffTrax is With very special guest riffer Joel McHale! Released on Thursday, 7/2 (just in time for the 4th!) [/quote]

WOLVERINES!!!! I can't wait....Red Dawn was the first PG-13 movie. I remember when I saw it, I felt like I was sneaking in (I was 12). To me, being 12 in 1984, the storyline seemed like it could happen. (or maybe I was just high on nicotine. That was also the first time I smoked cigarettes) On a side note, they should do The Outsiders in the future. They both have Swayze, C Thomas Howell, Darren Dalton, and a Sheen brother. Stay Gold, Pony Boy, Stay Gold.

This is a big one! This is, by far, my favorite guest riffer they've had. Joel is perfect for this type of snark. He is excellent on The Soup, and there has always been a long connection between Talk Soup and MST3k... Really excited about this one! ...and what a movie! Hooray!

Thats so cool!
I was watching The Soup this week, and after it was over, i started wondering if Joel McHale would ever do a rifftrax... and now this. Awesome!

I'll check it out too (I check them all out) but I know not this Joel you speak of. The host of The Soup, formerly Talk Soup, on E!. I find his comedic style to be very similar to MST3K. Some times while watching the show, it becomes obvious that he was influenced by the MST. Anyways, he's a very funny guy, and this should be a great trax.

I posted in the RiffTrax forum, but don't know if anyone here saw it, but when we recorded, Joel brought three VHS tapes full of MST episodes that he had taped back in the 90s. He was really excited to get to do one and incredibly funny in person.

Joel is super funny and his snark is perfect for riffing. I was really excited when i saw that he was guest riffing... but its even cooler (yet not surprising) to know he is a true MSTie!
