Now this was an awesome animated show that i adored since i was 12 when it came out in 1993, been a Sonic fan since 11 in 1992 when i got my Genesis and bought the comics since the first issue. It's one of my favorite shows ever! i think it's well done, action packed and nicely animated for it's DiC's greatest animated show since "Real Ghostbusters", "COPS" and "Inspector Gadget".
Hell even at the age of 12 i was turned on by that hot alien squirrel redhead chick Sally, i mean HOT DAMN! she walked nude all the time, had a killer bod and definitely gave me a funny feeling.

She was cute in that April O'Neil way, I suppose. If I was only 10 years old, of course.

Yeah, Princess Sally was okay and all. And she wasn't nude all the time, she wore boots, and had that blue vest all of season two. (Which, compared to Sonic and his two sneakers, or Rotor and his bandolier and ball cap, is pretty decent considering.)
Now, Bunnie Rabbot on the other hand? She was awesome. ;-) *Sigh* And then she went and married Antoine. After he grew a spine, of course. But still.
I want to go on record as saying that I consider this show to be one of the most well written kid's shows of all time, second only to such greats as the Batman Animated Series. The heroes showed genuine emotion and were capable of losing to the bad guys (and these were BAD bad guys. Robotnik was almost a force of nature unto himself when compared to other cartoon villains (until he was cartooned up and genericized a bit in season 2.)) It all made the eventual victory at the end of the series all the sweeter because I KNEW how hard these characters all fought and suferred for it.
I mean with all seriousness that if I could sacrifice every post-cancellation episode of Family Guy just for another half season of Sonic? I would do so without any hesitation.

Oh man you wouldn't believe how i had the hots for Sal, i mean come on of course she walks nude despite a vest and boots, i mean she's a knockout and so is that hot wolf chick Lupe whom also turned me on when i was 13.
I hear there is a rumor for a third season of Sonic soon, that should be sweet. Yes it's an awesome animated show that appealed to both teens and kids alike while the other Sonic show "Adventures of Sonic" the one with Scratch and Grounder was aimed at younger kids. It's kind of like how back in 1986 there were two different GB cartoons like Filmation's Ghostbusters which came out weekday mornings while Real Ghostbusters came out Saturday mornings and weekday afternoons.

Are you sure it was a third season you're talking about? I heard about that one Family Guy animator who was saying that he was working on getting some pitch meetings with some execs to try and get a greenlight for a pilot episode of a show that, while not strictly a SatAM continuation, would still feature most of the main characters from SatAM (for the uninformed: SatAM is what this Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon was called since its name was just "Sonic the Hedgehog" and had no distinguishing nomelclature for itself like Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic Underground or Sonic X (and the less said about Sonic X the better in my opinion.))
I am hopeful that MysteriousAnimatorX as he's called is legitimate and succesful, in that order. I'm not sure if we could get Jaleel White back to voice Sonic again...his voice has probably changed too much by now.

I hope it gets made, i would love it. But do you think Sally was created for many horny adolescent boys?

Honestly, I don't really think so. I think Sally was made to fill the dual roles of team leader and Sonic's girlfriend before anything else. To be perfectly honest, you could almost remove Sonic from the show entirely and still have a pretty good show structure to work with.
I also think that a good deal (though not all) of the response to Sally in that fashion comes not from the TV show but from the Archie comic series, specifically after issue 21 (note that while the Archie comic technically released an issue before SatAM started to air, the comic was still based on the show's production notes which is why Rotor's first few appearances in the comic had him named "Boomer.") She was drawn differently then, drawn a bit "older" if you will (ironically, over the last year the characters in the comics have all aged in weird ways. Sally seems to be a bit younger than before in some ways, though Antoine and Rotor almost seem like adults. That's comic book time fluctuations for ya, I guess.)
