I got this board game for my 18th birthday, but have sice lost it. It's a fun, Monopoly-type game that uses a map of the U.S. and you travel around and buy up actual, historic rail lines. You learn some history, but unlike Monopoly, the game doesn't take forever to play and has a definite ending. I've seen some on E-bay, and will probably get one. It's been out-of-print since 1977, but there are on-line versions.

Hmm, interesting. I like games like that on occasion - we had a much newer one a little bit like that that involved trucking goods from state to state.

Did any get hi-jacked?
Weird part, is there was a previous game called Boxcars that it was based on, and a similar car-based game.
