I just purchased this game after hearing everyone rave about it for the past so many months. And I have to say: it's well worth the raving!
People never quite got around to explaining what it was about to me before apart from "platformer game with puzzles." I think a slightly more precise description would be something like "Mario Brothers as written by either Neil Gaiman or Umberto Eco with just a hint of Portal." It really is something that every gamer should look at.

So this is a video game then?
If so, which consoles?

I've heard of that, it sounds really neat. Any idea how good of a PC you need for that version?

I'm honestly not sure how good of a PC that you'd need. The graphics are simple but passable (think 2D sidescrollers on par with or slightly advanced from the SNES and Genesis) so in terms of pure graphics most modern computers could handle it pretty well. I don't know what effect the constant rewinding of time (and other temporal dilation effects) might have on processing speed, though. I imagine that any computer within the past five years could probably handle it. Still, I'd recommend checking the system requirements info against your own system before buying (I should've done that, honestly, but forgot to.) So this is a video game then? If so, which consoles? Well, I bought it for the PC through Steam. I've heard that it's also available on XBox Live Arcade, though I haven't heard if the PS3 or Wii have any good options for it.

I just bought this on Steam - it's on sale for five bucks now. I played through the demo and liked it a lot so far, so I'm giving it a chance. System requirements are not an issue at all, it seems to run very well on a low-end system.

I got partway through reading that and decided to stop when I realized it might spoil the game's resolution. I'll look back after I make it through the game.

That article was some good reading. I agree with him when he says that...well, best not post spoilers here.

The one I probably agree with the most: www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/43121And a really detailed, multi-post analysis/reflection: (crap, the link is dead...I'll see if I can find it somewhere else)
