Oh wow, is this a creepy game. I wasn't sure what it was when I bought it and installed it (it came with a pack of five games) and it seems to be a retelling of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Or, rather, six retellings of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Or, rather, six retellings of the story of Little Red Riding Hood that have been subjected to Grimmification.I don't think I installed it quite properly because I occasionally run into some glitches that prevent the game from running. It was scariest for me, honestly, in my first play through when I didn't leave the path and explore the forest. Now that I've actually begun to, you know, explore things, it's less scary but I've got more reasons for the amount of scaredness I've seen. Strangely, I've not yet gotten to grandma's after meeting a wolf (I've only met a wolf once...at least, I *think* I met a wolf. But then that aforementioned game glitch happened and I had to shut down the program and restart.) It's a weird game of exploration. I've not seen any violence or anything yet, but I've got a feeling that there is some. After purchasing I learned that the game is rated M, so take that as you will.)

I think I heard an NPR program that discussed this game. It seemed like it was a "Game" that is supposed to teach young women about the "truth" about men, or at least some men...
Be-Ware!
For a great (kinda sick) movie that re-tells the Little Red Riding Hood story, watch Freeway, starring a young Reese Witherspoon. One of my personal favorites. You'll never feel the same way about Kiefer Sutherland...heh heh.
