I should.... but I can't. I even sleep through Hockey. I like football, that's it. I did have a brief fling with baseball, I liked Tom Sever and the miracle Mets. But then I discovered girls and music and after that most sports, other than the NFL, took a backseat.

I agree with you on hockey. I'd rather sit through repeated viewings of Incredibly Strange Creatures than watch 5 minutes of hockey. Though I've heard it's MUCH MUCH better watching it in person.
But I would say that there's a lot better soccer our there than the typical US World Cup match. We tend to play a fairly safe, boring brand of soccer. It's a whole different sport watching a good Premier League or Champions League match, esp in HD.

I can't believe that the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to the Redskins for a bunch of draft picks.
As a long suffering Eagles fan, I've been frustrated that they couldn't win the "big one." But Donovan had more blame heaped on him than he deserved so now our starting quarterback will be a guy with very little experience, who hasn't shown himself to be special in any way. And twice per year the Eagles will have to contend with McNabb as he'll be in the same division. I just don't get it.

Trading him to a division foe was dumb. What happened to the proposed deal with the Raiders? and why didn't they take Albert Haynesworth (who was offered in the trade)? I don't know all the details and don't follow the Eagles that close, but it seemed a pretty bad deal for them.
