Ah I remember this thread fondly. Watched a lot of great comedy (though my writing was atrocious... looking it over I'm seeing lots of typos and bad sentence structure. lol)

It just so happens that I'm watching my wonderful Buster Keaton: The Short Films, 1921-1923 Blu-Ray.
In the past few years Keaton's become one of my favorite artists, and it was this thread that inspired me checking out his work in the first place!

I'm writing a research essay on Buster Keaton's 'The Cameraman'
It's about how Buster Keaton's combination of his own brand of slapstick and deadpan comedy contrasts with the traditional slapstick comedy of the time in order, and how that brings out the humor of the film.
Or at least that's my thesis at this point in my paper. It is due tomorrow, please wish me luck.
