Saw this posted on another music forum: "Carl Sagan - 'A Glorious Dawn' ft Stephen Hawking (Cosmos Remixed)"Downtempo-ish music + samples from "Cosmos" + studio audio magic = a cool spoken word tune! I really like it. Btw if you're even just vaguely into science and The Big Questions, I believe you owe it to yourself to watch the "Cosmos" series, all 13 episodes. And don't let its age deter you, since the subject matter is basically timeless, though it helps this series' production values are very high & uses a lot of really elaborate live action historical recreation sequences, and up to that time the most expensive series PBS ever put together (though some of the CGI is a bit primitive). If you want a sample of what the series is like, watch the first five minutes of the first episode in this (duh! 5 minute excerpt: "On The Shores Of The Cosmic Ocean"FYI: the delicately haunting music is by Vangelis.

Kind of eerie how much musically-tuned Sagan sounds like Kermit the Frog.

Too funny! Thanks. And back on topic- the remix is great, they did a wonderful job. And yes, I hear a bit of Kermit, too.

Kermit does kind of come through, doesn't he? Doc Sagan already had a pretty distinctive voice so I guess the software used to alter it (on that other music board someone said it was something called "Auto-Tune") didn't have to do much to nudge it in that direction. It's not easy...bein' green.............

I think a bit of Kermy is a good thing.
