I'm not sure there will be enough activity to justify this as a "stickied" thread. But with the influx of iRiffs of late it's worth a shot.

Josh Way's "Fun With Flicks: Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet"
Josh has a definite talent for riffing. His riffs are funny and timely. He doesn't try to fill in every opening but, on the other hand, there isn't too much dead space either.
The movie itself would have been a chore to sit through again on its own merits. Or lack of. Josh makes it fun with as many LOL moments as you will find in a good Rifftrax release. I'm not sure that a movie has ever been made with as many opportunities as this one presents. Josh certainly took advantage.
The VOD worked perfectly and my DVD looked very good. Some minor pixelation issues once or twice but not enough to be concerned about.
I consider Josh a friend and know that he is a frequent poster on this board but I don't feel the need to write a positive review for those reasons. Frankly I wouldn't post anything at all if I hadn't enjoyed them. I highly recommend this as well as Josh's first feature release "Wasp Woman."
Keep them coming, Josh!

Squeak the Squirrel by Scott Zee
I picked this up spur of the moment. Certainly glad I did as it is a very good VOD short and a bargain at seventy-five cents. Scott is very funny as is the short and his intonation is perfect.
I think I am more likely to be willing to iRiff VOD than an audio track. Much easier for something of an unknown quality.

The Lion King, A Day of Thanksgiving and Squeak the Squirrel
Lately I've been combining shorts with the main feature much like the old MST3K shows. I decided to give these amateur efforts a shot and boy am I glad I did.
A Day of Thanksgiving. In this exceedingly grey short, Mom declares there will be no turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. We find out soon enough that the cause of this miserable situation is probably deadbeat Dad, who has a sorry job fixing cars at the corner gas station. (He probably spends a lot of time and money on the back stoop with the Chevrolet Dad hammering down cans of beer every night) The kids, which include the Geico Caveman's daughter start whining immediately. This is the opening for some great riffs. Soon everybody sits down to empty plates and starts reeling off a Sen.Joe McCarthy inspired list of things to be thankful for in the longest grace before a meal ever! 1951 Red paranoia at its finest! Check this out! The Church of the Subgenius "Bob" hands dad a check or a pink slip. One of his many appearences in 1950's films. Praise Bob!
Squeak the Squirrel - A full color exposition on rodent torture. How to make a squirrel jape for you at its expense. PULL THE STRING! PULL THE STRING!
The Lion King - If you never thought the Lion King was a gay romp through the African landscape then you will believe it after this savage trax! I never noticed how many butt shots were in this film until now. I don't know whether to thank these guys or not, but I sure laughed long and loud. This is one of my new favorite all time riffs! ;D

I hate to be mean, especially to fans who are out having fun with this. But I gave some of those Iriffs a shot and, Lord, (how do I not sound like an a-hole here?) I just wasn't laughing.
There's very little of that sharp wit. "Squeak the Squirrel"? Man, the guy just talks in a loud, over excited manner but doesn't actually say anything clever or funny in the least.
There's another riff troupe that fans have raved over, I was told to try out some of their freebies as a test... but 'gah', I didn't even crack a smile.
After sifting through samples I bought one that did get a couple of snickers out of me...
The Relaxed Wife. At least the guy spouts some smart material and isn't simply throwing out random weirdness. He has a couple lines about the music score that were very clever. Even, dare I say it, MST3K style clever? He loses steam at the end, as the strange short (Funny in and of itself) reduces him to comments along the lines of "Am I really seeing this" and that was disappointing. but there at least were a few genuinely witty and well thought out remarks.
I feel bad about dissing a fan project, but my experimenting with the fan made stuff wasn't a great success. Ah well, it only cost me a few bucks.

Well, TPMJ, I know in your Batman & Robin review that you seemed to like Riff Raff Theater's stuff okay (you know, besides the dead spots and all)....have you given their "Tron" release a try yet? I haven't myself, but I do intend to. Just a thought, in case you hadn't considered it yet.

I might try some more Riff Raff and Lion King's sample had a couple of funny lines. But I think for the most part I've got my hands (and ears) full with the other riff projects, so I don't think I'll be doing a whole lot more exploring with iriffs.
The funniest fan made MSTing to me is still Count Xigeous doing "My Grandpa is a Vampire", that guy was a hoot.

He's funny with a really odd take on Disney, like he's Leonard Maltin's evil twin or something. But if they do some other Disney films, for example the ones I have then I'm in but I have to pass on Kimba, I mean Simba for now.

Blame Society's Star Wars IV: A New Hope.
It's actually much better than most of the newer "official" Rifftrax. It also has a very high "repeat" value. I think I've already watched it about five times.

A Day of Thanksgiving by Riffer Phoenix
1950's patriotic poopie. The kids are disappointed to find that the family can't afford turkey at Thanksgiving. Dad's job pumping gas just won't support three kids, a wife, and buy turkey too. Disappointment turns to thankfulness as they realize that no turkey is certainly better than being a commie. Riffer Phoenix has a good time with the material and provides very funny commentary throughout. I think his style is just a bit too laid back but that's a minor quibble. Well worth my seventy-five cents.

Alcohol is Dynamite by Scott Zee
I like Scott Zee. His choice of material is great and his delivery hilarious. I laughed out loud at this short more than any other in a long time. I don't think his style could sustain a feature length riff but it works just fine here.
Only complaint is an occasional beeping noise. Some sort of technical issue with the riff. Hopefully that isn't a recurring problem as I plan to keep picking up his shorts.

Dinner Party by rifforama
Fairly boring 1945 short about table manners. Some good riffs but not enough.

Fire! Patty Learns What To Do by ScottZee
Educational short tells kids what to do in the event of fire, whether caused by matches or atomic bomb. Scott has picked another fine short but the treatment isn't up to the level of his other iRiffs that I've seen.

GabbyGoes Fishing by Cartoon Chaos
Short (seven minutes) animated iRiff didn't do a thing for me. Good voice inflection but no funny riffs. I didn't laugh once.
