There are also some new iRiff releases tonight, including my own "Wasp Woman" riff (made before the CT release) and a new riffing group called "The Atomic Sodapop Gang." www.rifftrax.com/iriffs

I found the iRiff before I saw this thread. Bought the VOD and am looking forward to it.

Excellent as always, Josh! Favorite riffs: "Nothing says emotions like a box of your own filth!" "Woman + emotions = broken stuff." Keep 'em comin'!

Incognito Cinema Warriors XP "Lady Frankenstein"
After enjoying Josh Way's "Wasp Woman" I decided to give another iRiff a try.
This is much more in the vein of MST3K than a Rifftrax. Excellent production values, decent host segments, and top-notch riffing make this the best MST style fan production I've ever seen. Solid from start to finish. I'd love to see more. The $5.99 download looks great. Highly recommended.

It's the first fan riff I've ever seen and if the other iriffs are even half as good than I'm going to be a happy camper. For guys who are relatively new at this, their writing, delivery and timing were quite impressive. Many LOL moments. My only beef is that it almost felt like there was TOO much riffing! They had so many jokes stuffed in there that at times you felt exhausted trying to keep up with them. I always felt that the more jokes you get in there the better, but now I understand why Mike and the boys put some dead space in there occasonally. That being said, this was a very funny riff and I'm looking forward to more from them.

TRON is coming out on the 14th. Did any of you pick up the Speed riff? If so how did you like it?

And, if you like the host segs, they have some web-only skits over at icwxp.com.

« Reply #9 on Feb 26, 2009, 3:30pm » The Howard the Duck iRiff was mistakenly uploaded at the wrong pitch levels the first time around. I have corrected this by preparing and uploading a new version. Enjoy. And a re-recorded version of Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue has been released. If you've already purchased this one, delete the old file from your computer and look on your "files" page for the new one.
