They're not doing Ice Cream Bunny. At least not yet.

I didn't think so. SATIB doesn't have a wide distribution and the only legit copies out there are aging VHS tapes long oop. There are no DVDs available except for bootlegs. Unless they were planning on doing a VOD I can't see any economic reason for them to do it. Rifftrax is a business after all. But I think if our little effort is successful they may reconsider.

Actually, on the Rifftrax board they were doing "20 Questions" to try and guess the next movie. One of them was:
Q. Was it released in 1933 or 1934?
A. Yes
So safe to say it won't be "Ice Cream Bunny".

Having seen this in a room full of board members, I can safely say this will be hilarious.
Especially if Truck Farmer and crowfan participate. They were hitting grand slams with their riffs that day...

Thanks, Mr. Atari. I'd be willing to do it again.

Oooh, sounds like this just got even better. I didn't know we'd had a board viewing of this before! Whenever Thursday decides to get here, I can finally have some free time to WORK on this thing for once.

I've already started. I'm a minute, eight seconds in and already have 6 Riffs. This is going to take a while.

I'm going to take one last look after I get back home from Thanksgiving, but I have not been able to find my DVD yet. So, I'll just plan on inserting some fart noises at key points within the film, and I'm running even with Dr. Z in riff production.

I hope to start on this tomorrow myself - gotta recuperate from the past week's activities. I heard a suggestion recently that I wanted to pass along to the writers - would you all prefer to just go over the whole movie at your own pace, putting jokes wherever you want and submitting multiple scripts over time (like we do here at Operation: RIFF), OR... ...perhaps break this movie into chunks and work on it a section at a time? For instance, all of us tackling the first 10 minutes, finalizing that, moving on to the next section, etc. Not sure whether that method would be slower or faster, since it depends on the respective schedules of myself, Hellcat, and Skyroniter (we'll be making the final decisions on what jokes go where, etc.). Still, wanted to run it by all of you in case anyone had any preferences. So, I'll just plan on inserting some fart noises at key points within the film, and I'm running even with Dr. Z in riff production. As long as you time them with people A) sitting down, B) bending over, or C) receiving the Heimlich Maneuver, there's no reason you shouldn't.

What I may think is funny may be completely lame and someone else will come up with something at the same spot in the movie that really rocks. I'll proceed with doing the whole move until I hear other wise.

I think we should go through the whole movie for at least the first couple of go-rounds. Then we can assess where the gaps are and ask our riffers to focus on those areas that need jokes.

I'm only 5 minutes in, and I am already laughing my head off at this film. How it hasn't already been riffed is beyond me. Every second of this bizarre film (so far, at least) has got about 50 possible riffs for the moment. Doctor Z is right, this will take a while. In a good way, of course. I even managed to snap this nifty screenshot to consider for the eventual DVD cover:

I haven't been here much lately because I moved (ugh) and I'm temporarily on dialup (geh), but I just got my DVD from sky today and I'M IN! I'm sort of in awe of my riffing companions, but I'll do my best. What a movie... I'm a bit in awe of it as well... ah, the badness of it. Do we have any kind of hope-to-get-it-done-by date?

Welcome to the S.S. Deep Hurt, Miss Spackle! Glad to have ye aboard! As far as a hope-to-have-done-by date, I really can't say. "Eventually" is all I've got. I can't speak for the others, but I personally do NOT work well with a due date, considering my schedule and all. It really all depends, of course, on how many riffs we get from the writers - the more jokes that work, the faster we move. ;D Hopefully as we get further and further to the finish, I'll have something more concrete for ya. I'm sort of in awe of my riffing companions... I found this statement quite funny, since I once misunderstood a friend as saying that I was "partly awesome." It's been a personal catchphrase with me ever since. So yes, I'm perfectly happy with being vaguely awe-inspiring.

I've watched the movie once since getting the DVD and I have plenty of riff ideas.
I'm somewhat inclined to record my script as an .mp3 file and send it to you. Not because I want to include my voice on the final mix, but because some of the riffs are going to need a certain inflection or tone.
Thoughts?
