i know i am getting on the karma train kind of late, but i never managed to catch an episode until TBS started running it. i LOVE this show! a guy i work with has been bugging me for years to watch it and i'm glad i finally did. i have a lot of shows i haven't seen yet, but i have to wonder why this was taken off the air? wasn't it hugely popular? it has a very subtle coen brothers feel to it, and it also has a great soundtrack as well. i'm surprised there wasn't already a thread for it. what is everyone's favorite episodes?

I like the show too. Although I didn't watch it every week, I did watch it off-and-on during its run and was a bit surprised when it was canceled last year.
Favorite episode is easy: "Two Balls, Two Strikes" with Little Chubby played by Norm MacDonald doing an absolutely hilarious Burt Reynolds impression. (He returned in a later episode that I still need to see!)

Torgo started a thread where we lamented the cancellation and it's rumored revival. forrestcrow.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tv&action=display&thread=17283But yeah, it was a great show, and it didn't even get a chance to have a proper ending. NBC blew it big time on that. I really don't like Parks & Recreation and would just as soon still be watching Earl on Thursday nights before The Office. I don't know if I have a favorite episode as much as favorite scenes. Though I did like the episode where at the end Earl rents the "Bandit" car for the day for Randy. Oh, and the flashback one where they all think Y2K actually happened and end up living in a Wal-Mart (or similar store) for a few days. Great stuff.
