I'm watching The Beatles On Record on the History Channel right now.
That reminded me of a Beatles' Collectible my sister-in-law has. It's a boardgame called "Flip Your Wig".
It's in fair shape (I think she's missing the Ringo gamepiece), and I had a laugh looking though the game and it's player cards and such. It's such a simple game, it's so obviously an item marketed to cash in on their popularity at the time.
I know there are a lot of Beatle fans (or fanatics) here, I just wanted to know if any of you were aware of this game. It's like something you'd see on Antiques Roadshow.
A bonus I found in the box-
A collection of Monkee cards. That's right. Mickey, Davey, Peter and Mike had their own baseball-like trading cards. They pretty funny.

I don't remember the game... Seen here but I did have Monkee cards. I'd like to have the (recent) Beatles trivial pursuit game, but I have no one to play it with. My memory isn't what it used to be, but I bet I'd do okay with it (once when I was a kid, home sick, watching a game show on TV with mom. They had a Beatles category and were asking things like what hospital John was born in etc. My mother's jaw dropped, "How do you know all this stuff?!" Ahh fond memories)

The Monkee Cards were pretty funny. They had information like, Peter Tork's favorite ice cream and stuff.
We were looking at a Flip Your Wig game on E-Bay last night. The close-up pic of the game box showed where somebody had drawn on beard, mustaches, and eyeglasses on The Lads' faces with a ball-point, lol.

I remember the game. My sister had it when we were kids (I was born in 1961 and she's four years older than me). I still have all of our old Beatle and Monkee records (LPs and 45s) and I have all of the Beatles cards and the Monkee cards. I think they're all still in pretty good shape too. Maybe it will pay off being such a pack rat.

I saw photos of it every now and again, but that's it.
