NBC is full of bad moves like canceling My Name is Earl. The lowest rated network needs to spend more money on programming. Not less. Moving Leno to 10pm was just another attempt to cut expenses.

It's official. Conan splits with NBC.In the past 12 months, NBC has given me way too many reasons to hate them. This doesn't effect me the same way the sudden unjust cancelation of My Name is Earl did, but in terms of utter disgust, what they did to Conan is one of the most vile things I've ever heard. A big hearty "SCREW YOU" to NBC. I don't think I'll be watching you anymore, if this is the way you do business.

I have this great idea in my head for a comic book. Conan O’Brian dies due to a brain aneurism caused by stress and his staffs bring him back to life as a flesh-eating zombie to take revenge on Jay Leno.

But that's about all I watch on NBC as it is.

Just a note – I loved Conan's last show. I thought it was funny and quite moving in some places. Oh, and classy. The guy actually thanked NBC. Talk about taking the high road. For those who missed it, they did one of those little montages of their highlights of their seven months on the air. I think it was a partial joke, as in "how many greatest hits can we possibly have had in seven months?" Judging by this video, there were plenty. EDITED: Link removed by NBC, citing copyright. Figures. I actually get a little misty-eyed watching parts of it. The parts where he runs off Wrigley Field and later when he thanks the studio audience is really nicely done. Incidentally, the above bit is based on the very first cold open for Conan's Tonight Show. It was great then, and it's great now: www.tonightshowwithconanobrien.com/video/clips/cold-open-of-the-first-show/1116061/Conan closed it on stage with Will Farrell and guys like Beck. They did Freebird, and it was quite the spectacle. Great stuff. Already miss ya, Conan. "Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away." You didn't, Conan. Good luck to you.
