They're coming to the Nokia Theatre in Times Square. This is going to be great!
Seeing East Meets Watts made me want to experience the live show for myself, and now I'm going to get my wish. I can't wait! ;D

Find Rad -- ask around and introduce yourself. He's in credible, and will probably know where the other "groupies" are.
You are going to have so much fun! You'll plotz.

Thanks for the tip. I am really looking forward to this. I was wondering if they were ever going to hit New York.

Hellcat, I will be attending, so make sure you look me up. It's going to be a great show!

Man, if I could pick one CT show to attend (disregarding schedule and travel time and whatnot), this would be it. Not only do I wanna see CT live (obviously), but I've always wanted to go back to NYC, as well as see the Nokia Theatre someday.
Alas.
Maybe one of these days they'll venture to somewhere in the Southeast OTHER than Atlanta or Florida. You can pack a theater in Washington DC or Charlotte guys...I'm just saying...
Anyway, should be tons of fun for you guys going, and yes, I'm thoroughly jealous. ;D

Keep fingers crossed! That would work for me too. It would be nice not to spend a small fortune(relatively speaking) to go to one of their shows. I'd also recommend the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. Summertime is coming and this area attracts quite a few tourists.

The show was great! The Titans were in excellent form, and the movie gave them plenty to work with. The movie was called Danger On Tiki Island, and it was pretty darn awful. In other words, riffing gold. The crowd was very energetic and receptive. I did have an annoying woman next to me who kept emitting a piercing whistle every time she wanted to show her approval of something -- it felt like a knitting needle jabbing right into my ear each time she did it. But that was a minor annoyance.
The show was wonderful. And there was an extra bit of good news. Just before Joel began his introductions, he told us that this show was sold out. We all applauded that news (well, except for Whistle Lady, who let out one of her ear-splitters). Hey, maybe this means that they'll swing back here next time they do the East Coast? One can hope. Joel then asked us if we were ready to see "a really sh*tty movie." Naturally we said we were!
The meet and greet was also great. I was a little intimidated by the length of the line at first, but it moved along briskly. It only took about 45 minutes to get to the head of the line. I snagged a poster for the show and got their autographs. They were all really cool, especially Trace. I managed not to make a fool of myself when I spoke to them.
All in all, it was a great night. I hope to see them again sometime. ;D

Again, I'm thoroughly jealous. ;D But just as happy for you that you had what was inevitably gonna be a great time anyway! (I know from experience how annoying a loud-and-constant whistler can be, so the fact that you had an awesome time despite this says even more about the show, in my eyes...) I'm with you, Raja. In fact I recently had this discussion with RAD. He said he would bend some ears for me. Keep fingers crossed! That would work for me too. Summertime is coming and this area attracts quite a few tourists. Not to derail this thread off its intended purpose, but just wanted to respond to these real quick - first of all, THANKS A BUNCH Sky for putting in a word for the Southeast to RAD. Certainly can't hurt our chances, that's for sure! And you're right Truck Farmer, the Chesapeake Bay area would also be a prime place for it, particularly in the summer. Really, I think they have more potential attendees for their shows at more places then they care to admit, if the Rifftrax Live theater showings are any indication.

Glad you had fun, Hellcat. And Raja, I'll try not to whistle in your ear if we make any more Rifftrax shows or that future Mid-Atlantic CT SHOW!
