honestly, i could give a rat's ass about the oscars - i never watch them; i don't have the patience to. i don't know how people sit through them. the only movie out of the list i've seen is inglorious basterds and i did like it. i figured it wouldn't win, but i agree christopher waltz deserved best supporting actor.

I didn't watch, figured Hurt Locker would win the best pic. Can't beleive the director of Point Break has come so far. First woman to win best director. Congrats Kathryn Bigelow (she is James Cameron's ex wife, now they both have best director Oscars)

i was surprised to learn that neither farrah fawcett nor beatrice arthur were included in the memoriam during the oscars. i realize both women were most recognized for their work in television rather than films, but they both WERE in films as well and had long careers that millions appreciated. however, michael jackson made it in. nice. because, you know - his death didn't get a whole lot of attention, or anything. movies.msn.com/academy-awards/the-wrap/farrah-fawcett-oscar-tribute-snub/story/?gt1=28130&

i was surprised to learn that neither farrah fawcett...were included in the memoriam during the oscars. I agree. "Logan's Run" and "Saturn 3" are favorite bad films of mine.

Wasn't Farrah a member of the Academy as well? ------ Another site I visit posted these humorous posters. www.collegehumor.com/article:1802286I thought they were worth checking out for a laugh. This one was my favorite...
