how much affection?
one of my favorites. when i am going through my titles and see that one, i immediately think of that mother's eyebrows. they come to me in my nightmares. very funny short, great riffs. i think my favorite one is when mary looks up and sees her boyfriend come into the room days after they went dangerously too far in the backseat, and servo says sarcastically, impatiently, wanna do it!? there is a LOT to make fun of in this short. especially the creepy bride-of-frankenstein student with her big-headed baby. good fun.

Remember Me I remember watching this in the 90's during a business meeting. I found it hilarious and what a spineless idiot that guy was. The Calendar: How to Use It What the hell were they thinking when they made this. Perfect for rifftrax though and I love the 70's and 80's shorts.

The Case of Tommy Tucker
I'd like to see Richard Kelly, the director of "Donnie Darko" and "The Box," remake this. What a strange concept for a short! tommy ostensibly "dies" and travels to a bizarre, orwellian afterlife populated by patriarchal authority figures who lecture him on the in and outs of safety... never mind that people in the afterlife are the LAST people you want to listen to vis-a-vis safety, since, um, they plainly failed to keep themselves alive...
anyway, i'd love to see that concept get the "donnie darko" treatment. could be some good, good stuff.

i think my favorite part was mother's fetching camping ensemble. that flannel skirt and kicky matching scarf was just so smart.

Just watched their new release, A Badgers Bad Day - laughed pretty steady. Baffled badgers are fun!

What it Means to Be An American For some reason I love this short. The short itself is way over Patriotic and living in a ferry land in it's attitude. I love America but it's nowhere near this great. The riffing was great and satisfying.

The Red Hen
I think this one was made by the same company that made Moosebaby (the short, not Moosebaby himself). It's almost certainly the same narrator.

one got fat
though repeated viewings have somewhat dulled the horror of those terrifying monkey masks those kids wear, it is still pretty unsettling to see. the riffs are great - nice that the guys are so horrified as i am. my favorite riff for some reason is the one kevin makes while a girl monkey is shaking her fist over and over for some reason - kevin goes, "why, i oughta...why i oughta...why i oughta..." i don't know why, but that just cracks me up.
each child is different
each child is morbidly depressing would be a better title. it's not that i want to see children suffering, but damn this is a funny short. give george some more beans. 'nuff said.

Two new favorites: The Red Hen and County Fair. Both of them I've already watched several times, County Fair especially I can't get enough of.

I got caught up watching and reviewing some shorts. Starting with Families - Earning and Spending - which was a hoot. I love these guys. Hopes there's another short out there with them. I also enjoyed the freaky "Tooth Truth" and the hilarious musical "County Fair". Also the new one "Prickly the Porcupine" was a salt fueld riot. I wasn't impressed with "Kangaroos". "The Red Hen" was fair.

Just watched What If We Had a Fire? and I thought it was hilarious! And what do you know...the firehouse in the short is about 20 minutes from my house - I pass it when I go to the gym! And yes, it still has the big fire hat emblem on the side of it.
While we're at it, I downloaded a ton of shorts lately and my favorites are Courtesy Counts a Lot, What If We Had a Fire?, and Lunchroom Manners. I'm kind of going at random with how I buy them. County Fair was great too! "Fall gently into a coooooooooooma..."
