I find that the Top 25 Most Played playlist that your iPod automatically creates says a lot about a person. In fact, I kind of wish I'd never discovered it, because now I obsessively check to see which songs have dethroned what. I'm always interested in seeing what other people are listening to, so go ahead and post your 25 most played, or your 5 most played if you don't feel like typing too much. Bare your souls. Or don't.
1. The Chain-- Fleetwood Mac 2. As The World Falls Down-- David Bowie 3. Bad Romance-- Lady Gaga 4. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around-- Stevie Nicks w/ Tom Petty 5. Something About You-- Level 42 6. Magic Dance-- David Bowie 7. Rooms On Fire-- Stevie Nicks 8. Starman-- David Bowie 9. Panic In Detroit-- David Bowie 10. Poker Face-- Lady Gaga 11. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out-- The Smiths 12. Edge Of Seventeen-- Stevie Nicks 13. African Night Flight-- David Bowie 14. Moonage Daydream-- David Bowie 15. Mexican Radio-- Wall of Voodoo 16. I don't own an ipod, but it sounds like an interesting feature and there are interesting lists here.
I never made mix tapes/CDs (I'm still an album guy) so I don't know if I'd get much use from an ipod. Maybe I'd do a Paul McCartney collection (since I rarely enjoy an entire record from him) .

Haven't owned it for long enough for the List to be telling, I think, though as a guitarist, I'm fairly obsessed with Leo Kottke's instrumental stuff, so Bean Time and Jack Fig and Bouree will likely always be on that list.

I've been putting on the rifftrax to Star Wars IV on as I fall asleep every night and was shocked that it just crept onto my most played list. I think that qualifies as some sort of addiction.
