I was watching a copy of "Gamera" today and saw some some commercials for shows way back in the early days of CC. Ahh, what memories...I was trying to think of some of the other shows that were on way back then...I remember watching a lot of "Stand Up, Stand Up", "Two Drink Minimum" and other similiar shows...anyone else have fond memories of CC shows from back in the early 90's?

I like seeing the commercials for Dell back in '97-'98. You could get a P2 166 w/ 8 Megs of ram for only $2600!!

I remember...
Short Attention Span Theater ( they even used to show clips from MST3K ) Politicaly Incorrect w/ Bill Maher ( before it went to ABC ) Absolutely Fabulous ( BBC comedy ) French & Saunders ( BBC comedy )
I have tapes from the CC era that promote the coming of a new program called "The Daily Show" ( back when Craig Kilborn was the host ).

I asked this question before, did Comedy Central ever show Catalina Caper uncut? Since it was an intentional comedy anyway. Could that be the reason why it was taken out of circulation early?

It's possible, but I doubt it.

They would also air "Kids in the Hall" episodes.

Does anybody here remember The Vacant Lot? I remember it. I watched it a little and didn't care for it. After KITH there were several comedy troupe shows for a while.

I think one of the members of "The Vacant Lot" was a brother of one of the "Kids in the Hall".
updated:
Nick McKinney was on "The Vacant Lot" Mark McKinney was on "Kids in the Hall"

Okay, since KITH is a common subject on this thread, let us turn this thread into a Kids In The Hall quote thing!
"Hi! I'm Dave Foley, and I have a good feeling about menstration."

I miss Short Attention Span Theater(with Jon Stewart), The Ben Stiller Show, Night After Night w/Alan Havey (from the Comedy Channel Days). As much as I miss these shows, the thing I remember most about those days is that MST basically WAS Comedy Central. Without it, the network may not have survived.
