OMG! This set ROCKS!!
3 of my favorite episodes ever! Crash of the Moons, Beast of Yucca Flats and Jack Frost! AWESOME! So happy we got the second Rocky Jones ep on DVD to go with Manhunt in Space on Vol 14, esp since Crash is funnier. Beast and Jack Frost ive seen recently online and I found them to be most excellent.
With Yucca Flats on this set, we now we have all 3 Coleman Francis eps on DVD. I already have Skydivers on Vol 1, still havent decided if im going to get the single of Red Zone Cuba yet though.
Lost Continent isn't too bad an ep, despite the Rock Climbing (very painful!) and finally we get a break from Season 1 episodes to boot.
Shout Factory Rules!!

I love this set.
Lost Continent-1st episode I ever saw of MST
Crash of the Moons-A great season 5 episode and the better of the two Rocky Jones episodes.
Beast Of Yucca Flats w./ Money Speaks and Progress Island- The shorts alone make this one awesome and then the completion of the Coleman Francis trilogy
Jack Frost-Haven't seen it but it looks wacky as all get out, and it's a Russo-Finnish production which were always beautifully shot.

YESSSSSSSSS! I'm mighty jacked about this one. Jack Frost, my #1 fav ep, with Yucca Flats my #3! This kicks the most incredible ass - I hope we get cool extras with these.
Edit:
I went back an read my reviews for these eps... I forgot I had sound clips on Yucca and Frost. Hearing them again made me laugh and really amped up my anticipation. Thanks SHOUT, I could kiss you full on this lips for these! ;D

I SO needed a better copy of Lost Continent (Lippert!!!), and I love Yucca Flats. Jack Frost is surprisingly good for a Sci-Fi ep, and Crash of the Moons is very painful for me, but we need it to complete the Rocky set (Manhunt In Space is dreadful to me too), and it's a Joel

I don't know, this set doesn't thrill me or anything. Beast of Yucca Flats is the only classic in the bunch and Progress Island USA is the best short they ever did. Having said that, Lost Continent is dull, Crash is meh, and Jack Frost is severely overrated in my book. Still, more MST is good MST so keep it coming Shout.

This is great news. I hoped they would release Beast Of Yucca Flats at some point, and now here it is! I've never seen Jack Frost, so I'm really eager to check it out. It's been a while since I last saw Lost Continent or Crash Of The Moons, and in a way that's like getting fresh episodes too.
Looking forward to this one. ;D

So what extras would everyone like to see?
Crash should include the MST Hour segments
I'd like to see a Coleman Francis retrospective, if any of his old cohorts are alive, interview them.
Maybe interview Mike on playing Hugh Beaumont (he played him twice)
And of course any of the MST specials they aired.
Bumpers if any, for the eps.

Definitely gotta have some kind of extra on Coleman Francis in Vol. 18.

I believe Anthony Cardoza is still alive. He could shed some light on Coleman Francis and what was going through his twisted, gravy-soaked mind. A Coleman Francis featurette would definitely improve this set. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I love all MST3k... I'm really glad Beast of Yucca Flats is finally on DVD! That and Crash of the Moons are the two best eps on this set, in my opinion. Lost Continent is a fair episode--definitely not a fav--because "rock climbing" truly is painful to watch. Jack Frost is a solid Sci-Fi era episode, but doesn't rank as high on my personal list as it does most MiSTies... I hope that Beast and Lost Continent are signs of things to come... allowing some of the before thought "impossible to get" episodes are obtainable. Hell, its more MST3k, and that's great. I'll reserve my final opinion when they release the extras and the release date.

Definitely gotta have some kind of extra on Coleman Francis in Vol. 18. I second that, would love a retrospective on Francis. MST hour segments would also be nice.

Great line up! Lost “I lost my keys once but that’s ridicules” Continent is the first episode I ever saw and it made me an instant fan so it’s a favorite of mine. The Beast of Yucca Flats is a classic and also perhaps my favorite Mike CC era episode.
Jack Frost is ok but it’s the kind of episode I rarely watch. Crash of the Moons is one of the lesser Joel era efforts but what can ya do. As always, I’m looking forward to this set!

I'd like to see a Coleman Francis retrospective, if any of his old cohorts are alive, interview them.. Yeah, they have to do something like this. This is the last chance for us to get any kind of Coleman Francis-related goodies, as there will be no more CF episodes left to release after this one. He was an interesting cat. . .his life could surely fill a short made-for-DVD documentary. Maybe they could interview this guy to give a film critic's take on CF: www.popmatters.com/columns/gibron/051129.shtml
