I must say I'm not sure why Jack Frost gets so much praise. I mean no insult, buuut it always cracks me up when people post something like this. Let me ask you something pimpampet? What’s your favorite episode? And why is it your favorite episode? There... you have your answer. Jack Frost gets a lot of love because a lot of people feel and react the same way to it, as you do to your favorite episode. Folks have different tastes, so milage will vary. But Frost is my #1 episode because it makes me laugh my ass off. Nuff said?

Sure, I guess. Maybe I should give it another watch, but it just didn't do much for me.
I don't really have a definite favorite episode at this time. But I'm still rather new to the show and there's lots of them I haven't seen yet. So I'll have to get back to you on that. :-)

I wonder what the extras will be, ther wil be the posters natch, and I would guess the MST hour Perkins segments will be included but other than that I have no clue. Of course this set rocks without any extras , and I'm buying it even if there are no extras whatsoever but I'd like to see Shout continue to give us good extras. I am pre-ordering this wit some birthday money.

Sirhamhat suggested earlier in this thread that an interview with Tony Cardoza about working with Coleman Francis would make a good extra. He did an interview awhile ago ( www.bmonster.com/profile37.html) and he seemed like a pretty interesting character, and seemed to be fine with MST3K doing Beast of Yucca Flats. He's getting up there age-wise though (he's 80 this year).

^Cool beans! Now they need to go talk to Mike about how fun it was being Hugh. Sure, I guess. Maybe I should give it another watch, but it just didn't do much for me. I don't really have a definite favorite episode at this time. But I'm still rather new to the show and there's lots of them I haven't seen yet. As I said, everyones mileage varies on these things. I just get a chuckle when people wonder why others like an episode... They laugh, that's why

Yeah, I follow Frank on Twitter and saw this too, awesome! Well, we know one of the extras now, Frank doing an intro to the episode like Joel did for Crawling Eye on Vol 17. Can't wait to see what Frank has to say about the Rock Climbing.

I think it's cool that they are going beyond the traditional Joel/Mike intros - and Frank seems to have the best memory of the bunch (Trace, as he's often admited, seems to have the worst. lol - but I'd still like an intro from him as well) Brian posted this link to a pic at the Shout fourm. I wonder if he knows Frank spilled the beans? twitpic.com/1c8o4r

I hope Frank is doing an intro for Beast of Yucca Flats too. I'd love to hear him go on and on about his love of Coleman Francis.

I watched the Crow vs Crow from DragonCon 09 on The Beatniks DVD and during the panel Trace admited he doesn't remember alot of stuff from when they did the show, most of its a blur to him now.

Very excited about this set, pre-ordered it as soon as it went up! There are only two of these I know I've seen, but I don't remember much about them(last time I saw 'em was when they aired on TV). I know I haven't seen Jack Frost yet. By the time the show moved to Sci-Fi channel I was in 11th grade; I was so busy with school, work, and dating that I wound up missing a lot of those episodes. So, most of the Sci-Fi era episodes they release are new to me. Frank doing anew interview for the set is awesome! I wish they could step it up and release these sets bi-monthly.
