Well, after the Mystery Patch that went through on Steam last week, it looks like a sequel to the best puzzle game of the last 5 years is officially coming our way!
I'm excited. Very, very, very excited. I'm torn between telling everyone I know that I want it for Christmas, or just buying it myself so that I can start playing it ASAP.

Valve has such a way with marketing, I can't understand it, It's like one of those murder mysteries, but it always Valve, yet we somehow never suspect it.
"Ohhhhh! It's Valve! Makes perfect sense now!"

Portal is one of the best games of all time.
Part of me is super excited for Portal 2, part of me thinks it can't possibly live up to Portal, and another part of me is like, "oh Valve, somehow I doubt this will be released for another 10 years. By the way, where's Half Life 2 Episode 3?"

Portal was puzzle game? I never played it. Portal was an FPS where you were basically thrown into a series of increasingly hazardous "test chambers" that eventually became unashamed death traps, all while being helpfully guided through the test by a sentient computer named GLaDOS, who continually promised that "cake and grief counseling" would be available afterwards. I highly recommend picking it up and giving it a shot. It's only four hours long, sadly, but I firmly believe that it's worth it. But whatever you do, don't research it before playing it. Just buy it, or you'll stumble into way too many spoilers.

FPS is a bit of a misnomer. You shoot portals.
