Many of my favourites have been mentioned such as Spinal Tap's in character one and the genuinely hilarious and informative Firefly ones. Some more I really like are the Coens' Blood Simple, which is a spoof of those film critic ones that tell you about the making of the film with one of the Christopher Guest regulars, it's the guy who commentates with Fred Willard at the dog show in Best In Show, reading from a script written by the Coens. It is very funny and I won't ruin it as it is one of the best DVD extras ever. Bubba Ho-Tep's two commentaries are also great, Bruce Cambell is a great talk track guy. The first one is a staight commentary and the second is in character as Elvis, annoyed at how he's been depicted in the film. Yes it turns out he really is still alive! I'd also recommend the Moon commentaries, one is very informative and had to be recorded with the director and producer after the group commentary turned into a mass laugh-fest. Thankfully they put that one on the DVD too as it's also really funny, especially when one of the guys gets a little too excited by Sam's wife's boobs.
TV DVDs have some of the best commentaries around. The Simpsons DVDs, especially the show's peak season 3-10 period as the people involved with the show were the funniest. There's a great running joke involving the writer John Swartwelder refusing to do them that may or may not have been resolved thanks to a phone call and there have been some guest stars too. The best ones are any that feature Conan. The Futurama commentaries are even better, mainly thanks to a number of the best Simpsons guys moving to that show, but also because the voice cast, apart from Katey Sagal, are all over them and are very funny people. Also check out the Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared DVDs. Tracks for every episode featuring everyone involved with the shows, including a certain ex-Tom Servo who wrote a few episodes for the former show.

"American Werewolf In London."David Naughton and Griffin Dunne are very funny. Also, one of my favorite commentary track moments ever has to be Katy Manning crying at the end of the Dr. Who story "The Green Death."

Because of the good reviews of the commentary of Cannibal: The Musical, I went ahead and ordered it. I hope I got the right edition. I think so. I also ordered Orgazmo and Baseketball, because...why not?
