in the first dream i had last night, i was taking a shower in the middle of an intersection. i rarely ever have the "naked in public" dream. but there i was, washing my hair in a turn lane of a busy intersection. i knew i was naked and i didn't want anyone to see me, so every time i saw a car approaching, i was like, dammit...! i saw a school bus coming, and i thought - oh, great - that's all i need. so i started power scrubbing my hair to hurry up and finish.
in the second dream, i was at some kind of bar, looking for some friends (they were all faceless). as i was walking towards where i was supposed to meet them, i noticed a television playing a charlie chaplin short. i stopped to watch, and noticed a girl and a guy at a table, watching. we started talking and i asked the girl which shorts were her favorites. she really wanted me to stay there and watch more chaplin with her, but i wanted to go meet my friends. she put her arm around me and held me there! i didn't know how to extract myself without seeming rude or causing some sort of a scene, so i stood there, very uncomfortable. i finally got away from her and joined my friends, who were all cracking up about it. one of them told me in a whisper that i smelled terrible. it was because of that girl - she was wearing some kind of perfume that smelled awful, and now i smelled like her. so i put on lipstick - like that was the natural solution - and when i looked in the mirror, my teeth had turned green.

In a recent dream I was a paranormal researcher or something like that. I was on assignment in a house in the US. The family who lived there was a mother and father in their 30s/early 40s or so, and two teenagers, a boy and a girl in high school, and some younger child also but I don’t remember exactly. They were a completely normal family; no weirdness noted on any level.
During my investigation I was primarily talking to the mother; the rest of the family was going to work as usual. The children went to school. It wasn’t like Poltergeist where everyone stayed at home in the house. As the mother explained to me, Satan was occupying their house. She said that Satan hated them and was going to harm them. I remember the feeling of being scared to death every minute I was in that house. What an effective paranormal investigator. This was a real feeling of dread that I could still feel after I woked up the next day.
So one day, the mother and I were going to walk outside through the front door, and she told me, He's here, he's at the front door, he's waiting for me to leave, and he is going to block out the sun because he knows that I want to see the sun when I step outside. And I remember thinking that this was unusual because it was daylight outside, and I was wondering, what method would he use to block something as big as the sun? But then I think I noticed in the nearby windows that it was cold and dark suddenly. And she opened the front door and it was dark outside except that there was a huge moon, 20 times bigger than usual in the sky and I knew that it must be in the position of the sun and it was blocking it. The rest of the sky was completely black. And I was very afraid at the time. I knew that it wasn’t one of those circumstances where you are dreaming and you know it is a dream, I knew it was real. And I was thinking, this changes everything, because a lot of people don’t know if Satan is real or not - now we know for sure he is real, he is HERE, and it is not funny.
Somehow we survived that situation and later I was with the whole family and we were walking through the woods near their house. Suddenly the mother said, "Look what I found." She was standing next to a big tree. There was a hole in the ground about 2 feet deep or so, and there was a baby in the bottom of the hole. The mother reached down and picked up the baby and she said, Oh his legs are deformed. And I looked at the baby and noticed that the baby was not deformed but his legs were like a rabbits hind legs. I said, "Let’s take the baby to the hospital." And she replied, "No, I am keeping the baby."
And so, I noticed only bits and pieces of the family’s lives over the next few years, but the baby grew up into some kind of half human - half rabbit. The mother, father, and childrens’ hair all changed to dark gray, and gray-white fur started growning on their faces and arms and legs and so on - the entire family. The oldest son and daughter graduated from high school and left home to go to college - at this point they were about half transformed. As soon as they left town and were at their colleges, they started slowly changing back into humans again. When they came home and visited their parents during a school break, they were completely normal humans again but everyone in the house were half human-half rabbits. And they were not upset or disconcerted by these events in the least.
And that is where I woke up, and the part I hated the most was the part about satan and the front door.

Two dreams from the other day. First, I was looking for a place to sit for a class held in my elementary school cafeteria where for some reason my psychiatrist is the teacher. I can't find a place to sit so I head toward the back where my locker is. I open the locker and start putting my books into my bag. I then decide to put a few gallons of ice cream, which belongs to my teacher into my bag and start to sneak out the door before he notices. as I'm walking out I hear "Where is my ice cream?" and start to run from the cafeteria, where I hand my bag over to my sister who didn't really want it but ends up taking it anyway. I then walked in between two buildings, turned around and decided to go home, so I walked out of the front parking lot and stopped at the first traffic light near my school. Fade off.
In the second dream, I went to visit a house my high school girlfriend was living at which seemed to be in the middle of a jungle. When I arrive, a few co-workers from my first job are there and I can't seem to get her attention. Her parents come by and ignore me and it pretty much continued in that manner until I leave. I start walking back through the forest and a volcano starts to erupt. The End.
It's now seems Irwin Allen has taken over the direction from Terrence Malick.

Today I've been having MST fever dreams. I've got a wretched cold, so I've been konked out on the couch all day, and the best thing for me for sleeping during the day is to sleep to MST. I slept through Cave Dwellers several times, waking up enough when it fell silent to grab the remote and start it again, while thinking I should get up and put another one on. I finally had the "dreamt you got up before actually getting up" dream, wherein I dreamt I got up and put on another episode only to wake up later and realize I hadn't. But I did dream a lot about Thongs and hub caps.

last night i dreamed i was on some kind of road trip with my parents. it felt like i was a teenager again, sitting in the backseat, bored out of my mind. we stopped at a restaurant and i was really hungry, so i ordered a big stack of pancakes. griddlecakes! flapjacks! discs of love! and i was so hungry that i just almost inhaled them. and it really felt like i was eating pancakes - i felt full and everything that comes with pigging out on pancakes - all stuffed and stoned on syrup and butter. my dad, as a joke, reached across the table to steal one of my pancakes and only got a handful of scrambled eggs because i finished the pancakes off before they had barely started eating. he seemed disgusted - more so with me than grabbing a handful of eggs.

Lately I seem to be dreaming pretty regularly, but they're sort of unfocused and draggy and even when I first awake I can't recollect them well. But -- and I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen -- I'll sometimes recollect things later that are so clearly ludicrous they must be from the dreams.
One was while I was shaving last week, and I found myself thinking how glad I was that the big welts all over my face had cleared up. Suddenly it hit me that I hadn't had any to clear up.
Another was just a couple of days ago. My mind was wandering as I did dishes, and I found myself thinking how neat it had been to meet Mary Tyler Moore a few days before. Again, a sudden rush of "oh, you did not."

friday night i had a short dream, where my cat was wearing dentures. i looked over just as they fell out of her mouth. i was freaked out, not because my cat was wearing dentures, but because i was afraid they would break when they dropped out of her mouth. cat dentures are expensive.
i have always loved a good thunderstorm, even when i was a kid. i would get excited to see those huge black clouds. they just looked so dramatic. in my dream last night i was here in my house, and i caught a glimpse of a black cloud hovering outside over my backyard. i went to my front yard to get a better look, because it was moving quickly. i then saw a funnel forming. i wasn't afraid, because it seemed small and i doubted it could do much damage. dur! so i went back inside - to watch from a window. double dur! it was about the width of a telephone pole and since i only have one tree in my yard, i figured i'd be okay. i don't have a screened in front porch, but i did in my dream, and i watched the funnel bump up against it. it moved away before it could destroy it, but it did damage it. the dream kind of petered out after that - people began coming into my house and i was more worried about them letting my cat, smudgey, outside more than anything.

I hadn't even known that they sold cat dentures. I learned something new because of your dream. I also like thunderstorms, they can be scary and exhilarating all at the same time. The beautiful dark and ominous clouds and the thrill of not knowing how long it'll last. The elements working they way they do whether we like it not, it's very humbling.
I had two dreams this morning, and both show why I've been forgetting my dreams: they have no substance. In the first, I was in an abandoned house and I was trying to fall asleep on the floor but was worried about someone breaking in. In the second, I was looking at a paper with patterns on it and then children' books appeared. A thought then ran through my head. "You must look for patterns like in a children rhyming book, but you can throw in a clunker rhyme every so often to make them laugh." I woke up at that point.

that's what is so weird about those kinds of dreams. they feel like their so important at the time, but when you think about them, it's just nothing. NOTHING!

I dreamed I was in a gymnasium and there was a monstrous buffet that ran in a huge circle along the walls. The first thing I put on my plate was a maple bar, but when I leaned forward to add a cinnamon roll the maple bar slipped off. I was extremely disappointed, but I kept the line moving. I saw more donuts so I grabbed another maple bar and cinnamon roll, but I was still leaning forward, so as soon as I put them on my plate they slid right off. That's it, that just kept happening over and over and over.

i woke myself up twice last night - i guess i was talking in my sleep. i don't think i do that very often, but i do know that when it happens in whatever i'm dreaming, i am struggling to speak and i can't. not until i wake up, and then it all comes out, whatever it is. i dreamed a lot last night, but it all disappeared as soon as i woke up.

last night i dreamed i was at my sister's house, though it looked nothing like her house. i was looking for pop-tarts in the kitchen. someone had told me they had bugs in their kitchen, and when i opened a cabinet, i saw a bunch of brownies stacked in there. not wrapped in anything, just sitting out in the open, and i thought, well, no wonder they have a bug problem. i heard a rustling noise, and then these things that looked like lobsters started crawling out. they looked like lobsters, but i only recognized them as roaches. i freaked out and took off running. never found any pop-tarts, either.

That is a perfectly sensible dream since yesterday you learned that lobster chunk ice cream exists.
