Watched the first two episodes and loved them. I really like the new doctor I thought he was gonna be some young hip douche or something but he actually is a very interesting character and for the first time in a while his sidekick is likable.
Gonna watch the third episode soon.

YES!! The "New" Doctor Who is FAB-U-LOUS!! Aside from the knockout companion, I also dig the new opening credits and the new logo. The music is a little more toned-down, and reminiscent of the early credits. I like both the music and titles. But how is the new theme toned down? Not quite as loud as Series 1-4 which was, imo, 'in your face'.

Am generally pleased with the new series so far. We're through "Vampires of Venice" (btw there's a great scene where the Doctor pulls out an library card and it's Bill Hartnell's picture lol), and I've enjoyed them all except "Victory of the Daleks."

^Vampires of Venice aired last night on BBC. I'm loving the series so far - I even love Rory!

You've got a good one coming up called "Amy's Choice." It's a gem imo.
It's strange because there's probably no single ep in this series that I've enjoyed as much as say "Girl In the Fireplace" or "Human Nature/Family of Blood" but so far this has been my favorite series of the new Who. Just pretty solid throughout (whereas the last four series have all had some stories I absolutely hated).
I also like that they're moving away from the whole "Last of the Time Lord" angst. Much more understated with Matt's Doctor.

^Thank goodness. I got so tired of RTD's constant ramming down our collective throats the fact that the Doctor was the last. I wanted to say "OK, sheesh! Can we move on?" I've been watching online, and I think that so far, Eleventh Hour and Amy's Choice are my two favorites. Beast Below and Victory of the Daleks was meh, Vampires in Venice should have been called something else, because the "vampires" were fish. (At least they didn't sparkle.) The two Angel ones were nifty, as was The Hungry Earth. Very Pertwee-esque.

LOVE the new series. Amy is...breathtaking.
Anyway...I was typing up this list, and thought someone here might like a copy. It's a 'down 'n dirty' list of the Serials for each Doctor. Yes, I know this is on a hundred sites...I was just here and thought you might like an easy copy and paste. Enjoy.

The new one, "Vincent and the Doctor," is another gem. It reminded me a little of "Father's Day" in that the plot isn't flawless, but it's all about the characters/emotions. Mrs. Shep's favorite Dr. Who episode ever and I have to admit I got a little choked up at the end, too. Well done, Richard Curtis!

Amen to that! A truly touching episode. I only wish I knew more about Van Gogh, I'm sure it would have been much sweeter. A big tip of the hat to Tony Curran who played Vincent. Who else is in love with Amy Pond? Best companion, evah!

"The Pandorica Opens" is another good one. Can't wait for the finale next week.

Just watched "The Lodger". I enjoyed it very much, and I'm glad the girl who is a friend became the girlfriend. The "head-butt" briefing was neat, I always like it when they show the 'others'. Good choice in Matt Smith, btw.

I have really been enjoying the New Dr. Who episodes as well. I haven't been a regular watcher since the Tom Baker days when they were re-aired on PBS in the 80's. I have been watching the new episodes on BBC America however, so I just finished watching Cold Blood Part 2. Looking forward to Vincent and the Doctor. I agree Amy Pond is terrific as the new companion and my favorite. But she is a redheaded lady from Scotland so what's not to like ?

I really enjoy Matt Smith's Doctor; silly, energetic, but also has that 'this is my planet, and it. Is. Defended.' attitude of Tennant and Eccleston. Ten's regeneration nearly broke me heart, though : (
