^that's right, I forgot about that... and it was one of their funniest releases too.
And I don't see how doing shorts would be that much of a distraction... but I'm the hardest working man in rock and roll, so what do I know. Next time your in the studio you record a handful and dole them out as extras on the DVD releases. Hell, do a Devo and use them as your warm up act. It aint rocket science.

About the five people riffing thing...
Doesn't CT do about the same number of riffs per movie they did on MST3K? Maybe it's been a while since I've watched one of the old episodes, but it doesn't seem to me that the number of riffs has increased at all. So why does it matter if there are five people vs three people if it's still the same number of riffs? Just wondering.
I'd like to see them do some shorts as well.

^It's more a 'would they all be able to get an equal amount of riffs in without sounding un-natural" type of thing. You want it to sound like they are casually throwing out jokes, and not come off like a stiif rotation

Would you wanna throw in another Little League game in the schedule each week?

Truthfully Scotty and I’m not being contrary for contrary’s sake, but yes, when I’m creating the answer is yes… only I didn’t consider these -addition/extras whatever- little league, or lesser animals or a distraction - but as part of the whole package, something that added to and made my creative endeavors better.
If they don't want to do them, that's their right. But lets not give them flimsy excuses. Artistic minds have worked harder for smaller things. (The opening chord on "A Hard Days Night" for example)

If they plan to do studio releases that aren't live again, they can throw in a short now and then before a short movie. They don't have to do the shorts at their live performances if it's too much of a hassle. Has anyone made this suggestion at THEIR website?
