RIP Lena Horne, such a talented, beautiful, progressive woman. I always loved "Stormy Weather." I took one of those online quizzes that tells you what classic movie star you would be, and I got Lena Horne. I always loved her and everything she stood for.
Also, this: "By the 1960s, Horne was one of the most visible celebrities in the civil rights movement, once throwing a lamp at a customer who made a racial slur in a Beverly Hills restaurant" is awesome.

I remember thinking how beautiful she was back when I was a teen. A striking woman and great performer.
