What did you sing in the shower this morning, or whenever?
Whatever it was probably isn't as embarrassing as me singing Dana Carvey's Chopping Broccoli. I haven't heard it in so long, I can't imagine why it popped into my head (and out of my mouth, unfortunately) this morning.

Well, I was practicing the guitar waiting for the library to open, and I was repeatedly playing and singing along to Keb' Mo's "Whole Nutha Thang," a slow blues shuffle in E. I have to "admit it" because I feel like I might lose my feminist membership card over loving this song, which makes me laugh and not be unwilling to jump into bed with Mo':
"Only one thang make me throw my money away That's a little TLC...or a little T & A."

solgroupie, it REALLY is! I love "I'll be Your Water" and "Whole Nutha" and "The Itch" (which also makes me laugh) a whole lot. Amazing stuff and the guitar parts aren't too awfully hard. Great horn work, too.

Actually, I don't sing in the shower. Everywhere else, yes. I usually sing old songs and make up lyrics to them. Lyrics such as "Me and you and a case of glue," "Slow prancing, slaying to the music" and "Flights with George Patton" have been heard uttered from this mouth. I'm weird that way.

"Leaving on a Jet Plane" in my lovely, Joan Baez type singing voice. . .
Or at least, that's what I like to think ;D

I sing in the shower a bit too much, really, and it's usually ska or Jonathan Coulton lately XP

"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane and "American Girl" by Tom Petty. Sometimes, I sing stuff from musicals, though, like Wicked or RENT...
Sadly, it's an apartment, so the walls are paper thin. And I like to belt it out cause I can, so I know my family hears. Wonder what the neighbors think?

I forgot to add, but sometimes I sing this much to the chagrin of those around me. ;D
